i just tried to book a ROL lunch for August and the CM said she didn't think they were doing it this summer.

Is that accurate? Is ROL a temporary attraction? When is it scheduled to end?

Don't temporary but I don't think the shows are on schedule yet. Phone CMs are mostly pretty uninformed.

Add of now, RoL packages are only available to book through June.

July and August will be available at some point, but no one knows when.

Keep checking every day until it opens.

What the CM told you about it not happening this summer is incorrect. They just haven't released the packages beyond June yet. I've read that the ROL dining packages for July and beyond might open up March 1, but who knows if that's accurate. Just keep checking every day.

Has anyone been able to book it on MDE? I would really prefer to not have to call every day...When I search for ROL on MDE it just says to all to book. Is it only bookable through a phone call?

It's been bookable online. I've only looked for it through a web browser, not through the app.

I have heard this as well. We are planning a trip in August and I want to book a package, so I guess I'll just play the waiting game like everyone else.

Additionally, park hours only show AK open until 7 pm in August, which would obviously have to change for ROL performance(s). I think Disney is just waiting until that March 1 mark to update everything.

I'm getting anxious as well. I check every day, multiple times lol. Hopefully this week. I need to start finalizing everything.

I think they have just not updated the hours and released the dining packages yet. Last year they did not open the Star Wars dessert party until about 2 months before we left. Hopefully they will start opening more dates.
I have a friend who is going the end of May and they have one booked.

There was a time a few years back when we waited for Wishes dessert parties like this too. You just had to keep your ear to the ground and check several times a day for news. I can't remember exactly but I think in that case it was 60 days ahead that they came out.
As far as ROL they just aren't added into the dining system yet, and my guess is it's because the AK park hours aren't correct for that time yet either.

Yeah, I saw this thread had been bumped up and was hoping it was because someone was reporting that they were available!
Based on the packages for earlier months, would you say that a Tiffins ROL reservation will be less "in demand" than Tusker House? I'm hoping that is the case. I will be leaving on another vacation in about a week and I will have very limited internet access--so I won't be able to check for ADRs for about 2 weeks. With my luck, I'm sure the ROL packages for August will come available during that time and I will miss out.

I'm debating on whether I should book a ROL package...

We never did it for Fantasmic and always got in to see it when we wanted and with good seats. Granted, ROL is new, so there may be more of a demand, but I'm still not sure.

We definitely want to see it though!

Right now, you absolutely need a FP+ or Dining Package or a willingness to line up standby hours in advance for ROL. The ROL stadium is much smaller than the F! stadium, and apparently 80% of it or more is reserved for FP or Dining, which is also more than with F!

July 2nd is our AK day, and I keep checking for packages. I already have a Tiffins reservation for dinner that night, so I will just need to swap it to an ROL reservation once they become available. It's kind of annoying but what can you do? It's a new attraction, so understandable that things are a little unclear.

Hard thing about the FP is that you'll have to select it as one of your original 3 when your window opens, and that means only 2 FP all day for everything else - including Pandora.

We were planning on a Tusker House lunch anyway, so it is a no-brainer for us.

That's my concern as well. Tying up fastpasses for the day. We weren't planning on TH but I booked an adr in the hopes of getting one for ROL. Too many fastpass choices now with pandora. Do we know if there will be tiers yet in AK?
