Hi I have reserved the dinner package for each of these shows and I have the Dining Plan. Can I use the dining plan for these shows because I just saw something that says "guests who wish to use their Disney dining plan for dinner shows must book category 2 or 3 seating". What does that mean?

Per Disney Parks Blog (Rivers of Light), "Tusker House Restaurant is on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as one table-service meal.",
"Tiffins accepts the Disney Dining Plan, and counts as two table-service meal entitlements."

So is it ok to assume Fantasmic counts as 1 table service credit also?

The dinner shows being referred to are the ones where dinner is being served while watching the show. Hoop de Doo at the camp ground and the luau show at the Poly.

Also applies to Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness.

Tiffins ROL package will use 2 TS credits as will Hollywood Brown Derby F! package. All others use 1 table service credit.
