Okay, so we are lucky enough to have our Disney trip scheduled for shortly after Pandora opens in late May. Just today I went ahead and added a lunch reservation at Tusker House to our plans for the River of Lights reserved section seating. My question is - how kid friendly is the menu? When I look at the menu online the only kid friendly listings seem to be mac and cheese and corndog bites. Is that really it? My kids are pretty picky and I kind of hate paying that much for corn dogs. On the other hand, I figure ROL will be crazy busy with Pandora being newly opened.

It depends on how you define "kid friendly."

The mashed potatoes, green beans, deli meats, fruit and rice are pretty standard as well.

My kids loved the curries, the pork, and the salmon. I think my 8-year-old ate his weight in salmon, actually.

That said, if your kids truly will only eat it if it's deep-fried and breaded, or smothered in cheese, try getting a 10:30 breakfast ADR. Breakfast food is pretty much breakfast food.

omygoodness Tusker House has so many many good choices!
Believe me, your children will not be stuck with Mac and cheese and corn dog bites, promise!

The beauty of a buffet with picky eaters is that they can try a bunch of things and move on if they don't like it.
