River Country?

It may sound stupid, but what happened to River Country? I was going to go to it last time but ran out of time. Since, I haven't heard anything. I searched the Disney World website but nothing. It appears in travel brochures but doesn't have the name on the WDW map. Does anyone know what happened to it? If it is closed temporarily or if it's closed for good. If it is closed, will you think they'll do anything with it?

I don't know if they have plans for it, but River Country is closed...and it looks like for good. When we took the boat from Wilderness Lodge to the campground last June, we rode by it and it looked all worn down and in bad shape.

River Country is closed for good with TL and BB I don't see them opening River Country again.

Thanks Zalansky and Danny1649. Oh well. I hope they add another water park or do something with that property...

I know it was closed during our 2002 trip, and I don't think it's been open since. I know I read about it while planning that trip. I never got to go there.
