anyone ever stay? The reviews are mixed. Looking for an all inclusive for next Thanksgiving with the kids. We did Mexico twice. thinking Bahamas, Punta Cana, or St Lucia. It all depends on jet blue prices

I never stayed there but I did stay at a Riu in Jamaica.

The positives: the resort was beautiful and very well maintained. There was always staff cleaning and shining things up.

The negatives: while there were families there I wouldn't call it a family resort. I can't imagine taking kids there because there is hardly anything to do besides the ocean and the pool. The did have some games and bingo but not anything earthshattering. They also had a nightly show around 9pm. Which was pretty good.

Any all inclusive resort that is not Adults Only during Thanksgiving or Christmas will have lots of families. They have activities for the younger children but pre-teens and teens are not into Clubs and find their own entertainment with others their age. The resort mentioned is not the greatest but if that is what your budget allows I would go for it. A vacation is what you make it and is based on your personality.

Have you stayed there? Some times it is so hard to judge the reviews.
My kids are fine with a pool and beach. They do not go to the kids clubs.
Any recommendations? My husband and I stayed at Majestic Elegance, kidless and loved it
