We thinking of visiting Ripleys & was wondering what peoples opinions of it is? They ve got one of these in Blackpool & i can always remember as a child wanting to visit it, never got the chance to so we figured what better than to go to the one on Int' Drive:thumbsup2.
Is it any good?? Worth visiting??

Also we re gonna spend a day a round International Drive & was wondering if theres any places people would recommend checking out?

Have heard of Wonderworks, we drove past it in Oct & had no clue what it was. Am still not too sure what Wonderworks acvtually is though, can anyone shed some light on this for me:confused3

Does anyone know which mall it is thats located next to the large Publix at the base of Int' Drive? We re trying to figure out if we ve visited Lake Buena Vista Outlet before & was nt too sure if thats it next to Publix.

Thanks :goodvibes

Wonderworks is a scince type exhibition with optical illusions. Its owned by Ripleys. "Fun" science as my DD woudl say but half of it didn't work when we went and due to this felt it was a waste of time and money but it might be better now. Have been to better exhibitions at science centres where at least they explained what the exhibit was supposed to do. Most of the people working ther looked like college students who really didn't want to be there.

Ripley's is certainly a fun diversion for an hour or two; lots of oddities and curiosities that usually appeal to children. WonderWorks has been revamped a little in recent months so it ought to be better value once again. If it's not too busy (don't go on a rainy day!), it can be a lot of fun as there are various hands-on games and activities which don't really class as 'science' but do qualify as good fun!

Ripleys is Ok for a couple of hours - I certainly wouldn't pick it over a park, but its Ok if you have some extra time. I haven't been in Wonderworks - from reviews I had read I thought it was like DisneyQuest, so never bothered to go as I can go to DQ as part of my Disney ticket . . . judging by the above comments I could have been wrong about what it is though!

if you have been in ripleys at blackpool then there isnt that much different in the orlando one, wonderworks is imo a better attraction well worth a couple of hours

I ve never been in the one at Blackpool, i remember seeing it when i was young but never got to go in. Think we ll def go to Ripleys, it should be a fun way to fill a few hours :thumbsup2.

Can anyone else recommend other places to visit a round the Int' Drive area??
