I haven't been to the one in Orlando. I have been to the one in Niagara Falls and Gaitlinburg TN. Personally, it usually only takes us a 1/2 hr to make it all the way through. They were both very similar. If you can get a coupon and the price isn't more than a few bucks it's worth a few laughs.
We were there in August, killed some time going there before heading to the airport. Took us about an hour to make it through. Our boys, 11 and 6, were bored out of their minds...too much to read and not interactive. Next time we'll do WonderWorks instead.
we tried it on a 'tourist day' this summer. waste of money, IMHO. way crowded, you couldn't really see anything in detail, because it's a human conveyer belt that keeps moving.
Definetly wouldn't spend that much to go through.
Personally, I've also done Wonderworks, I wasn't anymore impressed with that place either. We did do their pizza party magic show, which was cute.
I did Ripley's and I actually really liked it. I went solo, though, and took my time going through which helps appreciate the exhibits. But I am the type who likes these kind of museums.
One thing, though - if you do go DON'T ROLL YOUR TONGUE!!!! You'll see!
We went to it once and it was fun but not worth $60 and not worth going thru a second time. We hit it on a slow day and were able to take our time and look at all the things we wanted to. My husband is fascinated by stuff like that so we real-l-ly took our time. I agree with it being boring for children. It's a lot of reading and just looking at stuff. Nothing young children would be interested in.
