Ripleys and Wonderworks

Both are very good. A good way of spending a couple of hours or so in each. Perfect for a "rest" day when you have had enough of lounging round the pool.

Both are museum type places with exhibits of the extraordinary. Lots of hands-on things to do as well with a few surprises which I won't tell because it spoils the impact.

Wonderworks also has a dinner show. It is a magic/comedy show, all you can eat pizza and beer, sangria (it might have been wine) or soda. It was entertaining, and after we went through yhe museum. It was a nice evening.

I usually can't tear myself away from the parks, but we went to Ripley's in June and had a great time. My five-year-old thought it was the best, although I thought some of the displays were kind graphic and might scare really young kids. My daughter did fine, though.

Hi -

I have not been to Ripley's, but went to Wonderworks another day after we had been to the Orlando Science Center.

Science Center is cleaner, cheaper, has IMAX, more diverse age-appropriate activities ( 5 floors!) and duplcates many of the hands-on activities at Wonderworks. We did OSC first, after that, I felt that Wonderworks was a rip-off. Somed parts felt crowded, cheesy and worn.

Then again - that building on an angle is something to be seen.

JMHO! Good luck and enjoy!!!
