Just got back from the Sunday HHN RIP tour, and it was a BLAST! Even without doing Stay and Scream, we got in two houses and most of the Rocky Horror Show before our tour began. It ran from 8 to 12, but the park was open till ! a.m. (on the tour, we got to do all the houses, Bill & Ted, the Mummy, and then one house repeated...the group chose Psyhoscarapy).
After, I asked our guide if our RIP IDS were good for express access during the last hour. She said it would probably vary. We went to one and were allowed in the Express line with no question. Another refused, and the third actually escorted us to the RIP access rather than Express! I didn't mind that one wouldn't let us in because we still got two others with virtually no wait...icing on the cake.
I'm just curious...anyone else try for post-tour access, and did they give it to you?
We had so much fun that we upgraded our tickets to Frequent Fear for $10 and bought Express Passes for Weds. and Thurs. When we return, we'll catch a couple houses early, hit the shows we missed, and then run through all the others with our EP passes. This was our first HHN, but it most definitely will NOT be the last.
Oh, and we briefly met notatourist on the way off the Mummy...cool to meet a fellow DISer!
