So whats your opinion is this the end of Foo Fighters? It just seem Taylor was the glue that held it together. Dave and Taylor had this huge bromance going on, they all have so many side projects that I think Dave will not continue as Foo Fighters. So glad we saw them in 2018, Taylor was amazing.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this. It wouldn’t surprise me if Dave packed it in and dissolved the band, or at the very least took a really long hiatus. I really can’t see them continuing on their current tour.

The were scheduled to play at the Grammys on April 3rd. Nothing has been said about it being canceled. I wonder if Taylor's son, Shane, will take the drums that night, if any of them are able to do it, at all. What a beautiful tribute that would be to his father.

He took the stage for a song at MSG this past summer. In LA, Grohl's daughter was a backup singer. The kids only tend to hang out with the band during school breaks or when they are close to home. Dave made a comment in his book that as they started to age, the backstage area was full of all of their kids at times.

I think it will be the end of the Foo Fighters, but not because "Taylor was the glue that held it together." Dave Grohl did the entire debut album himself as almost a greiving experience after Cobain's suicide. I don't really see them trying to pick up a new drummer when everyone's over 50 keep going.

They’ve canceled their remaining dates in the current tour, but I truly believe they’ll carry on. Yes, Taylor was beloved and a huge part of the band, but the Foos have always been so fan-centric, I can’t imagine they’ll shut it all down and disappoint their loyal fanbase. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them return to the stage in a year or two.

His name is Oliver Shane, just as Taylor’s is Oliver Taylor. They go by their middle names.

I don’t think that Shane will join the band, but I can see him joining occasionally, for a song or a gig. He is too young to join officially at this point. I’d love to be at that show.

He may form his own band like Wolfgang Van Halen at some point.
