Awesome pictures. Thanks so much. I'm heading to USF/IOA in a few weeks (August 1st through the 5th) and I hope this ride is open. If not open then I will ride it later since I live just 40 miles away or so but my cousin lives all the way up in St.Louis.

Can't wait to go to SeaWorld and USF in August.

Were they testing at all while you there today? The landscaping seems to be almost near completion and I would definitely be surprised if this ride isn't open by the end of July.

Thanks again for the pics.

Maybe this is a good sign...they just released another video with the Rip Ride Rockit spokeman Syd Vinyl being interviewed by Access Hollywood. Here is link: http://bit.ly/nUtRA

He only says a little about the coaster towards the end, but still I'm thinking they wouldn't be plugging it if opening wasn't getting closer and closer.

That could be a good sign indeed. Plus...the local radio stations have been plugging the AP's for Universal a lot. I hear a commercial at least five times a day.

Some over on IOA said there are cranes there today looking like they are finsihing painting. Those rings and the graphic on the lift can't be far behind.

Ughhh, I wish I knew when it would open.

Mike and I have a vacation window between 8/19 - 8/24. But I am not booking a hotel, airfare, etc without knowing if RRR will be open by then.

Sorry if this has been answered already...

Where is the entrance for HR3? I just want to be able to go directly there upon entry.

Man, unless they're going to spring some suprise opening on us in the next several days, it doesnt look like I'll get to ride it. I'm going to be super bummed. :furious:

:(

Same here.. the weekend before.. but I need to see people riding, rocking, and then ripping it before I book anything.

I'm getting Antsy!!!!! - by the way, awesome pictures -THANKS!

Another hopeful sign: they had a new Syd Vinyl billboard on I-4. I am droooooling at the thought of riding that coaster! I am hoping I'll love it as much as SheiKra so I won't have to drive an hour to ride my favorite ride anymore.

I was at the park yesterday to catch the TNA PPV. While waiting in line, I watched them test the ride multiple times with people on it (not full cars).

One of the workers that I spoke with said that Universal plans to have a separate entrance for the ride in the future as well, so that you can pay to only use the RRR ride (in addition to park guests) and not enter the park (for those potentially visiting Hard Rock Cafe, etc.)

The ride looks cool, but I don't know if I would make it past the initial straight up climb.

Ooh great news about the tests :goodvibes That's a strange line option though, didn't expect that - wonder if this will make lines even longer :confused3

I wonder if it's for after hours. Run that coaster late at night for the Blue Man Crowd.....

Could be an option?

And I am excited to read that humans have been allowed on. That is a tiny spark of hope in my giant dark cloud of fretfullness.
