Rip Ride Rockit...what song did you pick?

I have always hated the Hulk launch but apart from the launch, I have found the rest of the coaster about the same intensity of DD. Yeah, that slow upwards approach makes me nervy I also quite liked having the OTS restraints to hold onto, does it feel weird holding onto what looks like quite a low bar?

Are you kidding me,the launch is the best part of the ride.The rest of the ride has gotten a little rough over the years,so I just don't enjoy the rest of the ride as much as I did from 1999 to about 2005 when it started getting rougher.As far as the songs on RRR,I usually rotate the Devil went down to Georgia,the Muppets Rainbow Connection on the bonus tracks and Pump up the volume.

I completely agree! I used to enjoy the ride much more, but now it's very rough. Rip it is soooo smooth. The Hulk I still love the launch and the view! Especially, front row when the suns going down!

I've been thinking about choosing "Pump it" or "Won't Get Fooled Again".

I think it's a fantastic concept for a rollercoaster, but I think they should have put more thought into "progressive music" while on the ride. Like having the music get into a beat as you drop and stuff like that.

Still a RRR virgin and can't wait to go. I didn't realise that you got to chose the track you wanted to listen to on the ride - what a fantastic idea. Looking at the selection I think Pump it would be a good choice for me.

It still happens but once they know a seat's music isn't working, they don't let people use it. Tell them if you run into that and perhaps they'll let you ride again.

Well, the first time I went on.....I was so scared and didn`t know what I was doing I ended up with the Beastie Boys ......I`m not a fan of theirs at all!!!!!!!

But now I always choose Gloria Gaynor I will survive.....seems phrophetic in a way!!! DH always has That`s the way.....KC and the Sunshine Band and DS changes every ride!!

901 - Moving Right Along by The Muppets----is my favorite track, once you are at the top of the hill it syncs up really well with the rest of the ride.

904 - Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky----also is great for the last half of the ride.

Speakers on either side of your headrest area. i'm told you dont hear your neighbors music...just yours. really cool concept!

Another cool thing about the ride is you're getting videotaped through the ride.At the end of the ride you can see yourself and purchase a copy if you wish.

This sounds like a really cool ride. I know we saw the video from the ride in Downtown Disney. Cyber Space Mountain I think. I just kept laughing a screaming "I'm gonna pee!" That is what I get for letting my child set up the coaster!

I almost always pick "Livin in Fast Forward" by Kenny Chesney. It is a great song for the ride and and it definitely isn't your grandpa's country music!

but in 2 weeks my man and I are going to be celebrating our 25th (no kids this trip!) and I really wanna try the bonus tracks, Lenny Kravitz!
