According to a Universal Orlando Facebook post Rip Ride Rockit has reopened today. :cool2:

I'm going to go sulk in the corner as it was closed when I was there and I know I won't be back for a long long time and was so looking forward to riding!

Is that all they said? I have to admit, I would be very nervous to ride it after what the ride manufacturer said.

I'm not sorry I missed it a couple weeks ago, since the manufacturer's statement had me a bit worried.

Pretty much...There's a small article in the Orlando Sentinal that's very vague as well.

Yay. A friend and I are going to Disney in early December [couldn't talk her into the Podcast Cruise:guilty:] and we are going over to Universal for a day. I love me some thrill rides. :cutie:

Simon will be glad to hear that, he's on his way down now.

Great news! I'll have to ride it tomorrow! Right now I'm back in the room at Portofino, and have to wake up early tomorrow for the Harry Potter experience at IoA. Then, it's off to Saw 3D tomorrow night at Citywalk! :) HHNXX on Friday night!

I expect a report on each of the attractions, sir.

I know I'm not the only one, but DW and I were very disappointed when we rode this for the first time in August. It simply isn't that great of a coaster. Hulk is way better. Rockin' Roller Coaster is way better - and I assume that's what they were trying to compete against. Heck, Space Mountain is better and that's 30 years old. I'd rather ride Spiderman. If and when we go back to Universal, I probably wouldn't bother doing it again and I absolutely love roller coasters.
