rip ride rocket question

Do they ever change the music selection for rip ride rocket? Just curious...I was looking over their music selection on wikipedia, and was a little disappointed with the selection...it wouldn't impede my ability to enjoy the ride with music I wasn't fond of, however, I could think of MUCH better bands/music to include in their selection.

I hear that there is a secret setlist you access by pressing the RRR logo on the screen for a few seconds. Then you get a keypad that you enter a 3 digit number to access a song. Google it.

You mean from the 2-month "refurb" last year? Yes, opened back up sometime in early November I think? I rode it in early December....

I've tried it. Wickerman works quite well. I've heard Rainbow Connection (902) at night is very appropriate.

Know that when you enter a code for a "secret song" you get a warning telling you that using the song will disable the video function of your ride.

Is the video portion of the ride important? I've never been on this ride (its always down when I'm there ), so I have no idea what the video portion is like.

I've seen a few videos and they aren't overly impressive. Take that for what it's worth.

WOW - I found this thread as my 2 teen age boys were being dropped off at the parks for the day (Sat 2/26)). I called DS15 and told him about the hidden songs and told him the website. They were thrilled with the selections because they felt the same way as the OP. I was their hero that day - not very often they're impressed with their old mom! So thanks for the great info!!

I know the ride is not that old, but I wish they would change up the song selection. I wasn't too impressed with it from the very beginning.

Although I am usually concentrating too hard on remind myself to BREATHE that I don't even notice the song.

Here is the on ride video that is available to purchase.
There are tons of songs, just get the list from attractions and try new ones. The ride is as rough as ever...can't fix some things. It's fun as hell, and the video they take is filmed through little cameras in the coaster itself. You can view the pictures and see the video as you exit down the stairs to the right.
The Blueman Group mix works very well, as does Night on Bald Mountain. BB King's Thrill is gone...does not.
