Why are people so mean?!

DD bought me a Mickey antenna topper our last trip... She bought it with her own $$ and kept it a surprise until Christmas...

Yesterday I stopped in at Wal-Mart and when I came out, someone had literally ripped the ears off of Mickey... all I had was a black ball... DD is so upset...

The local car wash people lost my first one!

I got a new one last trip. Now, I take it off myself before getting my truck washed.

Do you live near a Disney Store? I know it wouldn't be the same as the topper you lost, but maybe you can buy a topper at The Disney Store to replace this one?

I know how you feel. I bought the mickey Angel antenna topper back in February. It is the gold Mickey ball/ears, with a gold halo and white angel wings. I went to a concert in June, came outside to find one of the wings ripped off

Unfortunately, they closed my Disney store when the Children's place bought it... Everytime we walk by it, DD says I can't believe they put a dollar store there... like it is sacred ground or something ...

I dont' collect pins, but I do antenna toppers...and I would be MAD!!!!!!

I swear, my son hasn't been anywhere near Illinois. He's been known to *gulp* bite the ears off my Mickeys.

Some of the places I buy online include eBay (be careful, some people *really* mark them up) and Mouseshoppe.com (usually about double the original price.)

I wish I was planning a trip soon. Although it wouldn't be the same, I would gladly get one for you.

I got a DCL topper while on the Wonder in August and I would have a fit if somebody did this to it. How misserable of a person do you have to be????

It just infuriates me!! Whats more, it was during the day... So it had to be someone who was "ballsy" enough to do it right in broad daylight...

How awful! I love those antenna toppers, for some reason I have never seen them at WDW, but will be on the lookout for them on my trip.

However I did see a car with one the other day, I was so jealous. I wanted that Mickey Antenna!!!!

I'm glad that we are not the only ones that "snub" the stores that took over the Disney Store locations! The same thing happened here and whenever we walk by the clothes store we always wish it was the Disney Store. In fact, we have never even set foot in the store and don't plan to.

I have had antenna toppers stolen also, I have never understood why people would take them. I also have a Mickey hitch cover. One night we went to Costco and came out of the store and Mickey's poor ears where pushed back. Luckily my DH was able to pull them back to almost normal. The people should feel lucky that I didn't see them do this. There would not have been kind words that would have come from my mouth.

I think the reason some people damage other peoples belongings is out of jealousy. They can't go to WDW for whatever reason, so they have to ruin the antenna toppers out of frustration.

I lost mine at Walmart too!!!!

I've been shopping at Target lately. I'm hoping Target shoppers are slightly less evil than Walmart shoppers.

I love those little toppers.

Someone ripped off one ear of my golden Mickey. I was so upset. DH's aunt & uncle were going to WDW so he asked them to get me a new gold topper.

They came home with a Raglan Road hat for DH and gold sequin Mickey ears for me.

We thanked them and I wore the ears that night at dinner.

My Santa Mickey was stolen on Christmas Eve at church!!!! I guess because I didn't have an angel or something?? Who knows.

I don't put the special ones on my car anymore, only basic Mickey and Minnie. Surprisingly my plain Mickey has stayed on for about 3 years now.
