I just read that the principal from the Breakfast Club has passed away :sad2:

"The next time I have to come in here I'm crackin' skulls!"

Wow, that's sad. He can't be all that old. What did he die from?

Where did you read that? I can't find anything online yet.

The article on MSNBC said is was a rare form of lung cancer caused by asbestos. :sad2: He was only in his early 60's.

To be honest this form of cancer is not quite so rare here in the UK, usually construction workers from the 1950's - 1960's are high risk groups due to the amount of asbestos used here back then before its dangers were fully known.

:(

Claire ;)

I hope Barry Manilow donated a really cool suit for him to wear. That would be an amusing and lovely final tribute :thumbsup2

The story I read on MSN made him seem like a really great guy. He wasn't in too many movies, but apparently he impacted many lives in his real life. Sad. I think it said he was 67.
