The article on MSNBC said is was a rare form of lung cancer caused by asbestos. He was only in his early 60's.

To be honest this form of cancer is not quite so rare here in the UK, usually construction workers from the 1950's - 1960's are high risk groups due to the amount of asbestos used here back then before its dangers were fully known.

The story I read on MSN made him seem like a really great guy. He wasn't in too many movies, but apparently he impacted many lives in his real life. Sad. I think it said he was 67.
