I wonder how many meat-eating breakfast-eaters remember (knew?) that Jimmy Dean actually started out as a country-and-western singer.

Well, I've never eaten his brand of meats but I do remember him singing.

Loved his "Big Bad John", but even more the flip-side of the record "To a Sleeping Beauty", I get teary-eyed every time I listen to that one.

The Jimmy Dean commercials with the sun and various weather elements are some of the most clever ads I've ever seen - I LOVE them!! Never buy the product, though...
