J.D. Salinger, the author of such amazing novels like The Catcher in the Rye, died today.

I never read catcher but I did read some of his other stuff. Two of his short stories we read in school and I loved and I read Franny and Zooey on my own which was also really good.

RIP he will be missed by book lovers!

i loved catcher. and nine stories.

i honestly thought he was already dead though. he was really reclusive and stayed out of the public eye.
