RIP Henri Landwirth of GKTW

Oh - how very sad, God rest his soul. He has done, and will continue to do, so much for children and families with life's challenges.

What fitting timing - Right before seeing this message, I was just leaving a voicemail for my financial adviser to confirm arrangements for after life gifting to GKTW - Mr. Landwirth must have been guiding my actions.

Wow! I'm so sad. :sad:I have a lot of respect for Henri. During my advanced internship I spent over a 100 volunteer hours in the village from January to June. It truly is a magical place. I never got to meet him personally but just being in the village you could feel how special a person he was. He could have been bitter with coming from the concentration camps but he choose instead to give back. I now know many families (more than 10) that have a child that went to GKTW and had the time of their life.

Here are a few clips that tells his story.

Rest in Peace Henri!! The magic will continue because of you!!:tinker::earsboy::earsgirl:

Pam has been such a big part, I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I thought Henri had passed a while ago....
