RIP Harvey Korman

I was very sad to hear about his passing last night.

Truly a great talent. He'll be missed.

Way back in the mid 70s when I was a busgirl at the Showboat Dinner Theatre in St. Pete, Fla, I got to meet the whole crew, minus Carol, when they did a six-week run of , "Don't Drink the Water." Nice guy - I'm sorry he's passed.

I have seen Harvey Korman on an episode on the "Sonny and Cher Ultimate Collection" DVD set. Classic comedian. Never knew he was gay, though!

Oh no.. I missed this.. he was a great comedian and a regular on Carol Burnett for years.. I most especially loved it when he would break up during the skits... Tim Conway usually would be the cause of them all breaking into laughter.. I loved that when they could barely keep straight faces themselves.. he was so good.

Blazing saddles too.. I am so sad, how did I miss this??

I dont believe he was gay, just very gay friendly, and was one of the first guys to do "drag" on mainstream TV.

Thanks for sharing the clip, Mike. When I was a kid, my brother and I went to see Vicky Lawrence (for free) at Knott's Berry Farm. Harvey Korman and Tim Conway were right down the row from us in the audience, and heckled her like the old guys from the Muppet Show. Speaking of which, Harvey Korman was my favorite guest on the Muppet Show. DH called me at work to tell me of his passing. RIP, HK.:flower3:
