RIP, Daniel Schorr (1916-2010)

Newsman Daniel Schorr has passed away at age 93. He was still working occasional as an NPR commentator up until his death.

I'll always remember reading All The President's Men -- Woodward referred to him in the book as "big, bad Dan Schorr." He was an excellent reporter and political analyst; I'll greatly miss his work.

Thank you for posting this. I was trying to remember the last time I heard him on NPR - was it this spring? He was part of the old school of political journalists imo, professionals who never gave any indication of their personal political beliefs and reported without bias.

I think he taped something for Wait Wait the day before he died. Maybe on Saturday? Not sure, but I read something about that I think

I heard him a couple of weeks ago. Go look him up at wikipedia. Schorr led an amazing life.
