How likely is my family of 6 getting a reservation for thee ripcord at guest relations , when we enter the boat.

Not at the same time but perhaps at several different times. People cancel and move around reservations all the time. We had a reservation for 5 that I made online before we sailed, yet only 2 actually did the IFly.

Can you get what you want if you go to guest relations first thing in the morning

Only if there is an opening. I would direct to the IFly desk if you are trying to book morning of. It is very popular.
