My ds (12) just asked me where to get some free ringtones from that was a legit site, and when I said I have no clue, as I buy mine, he said, "Well go post on the Dis, they will know" :lmao: Boy do I have him trained well!!

Sooo my fellow Dissers...I'm asking: Where do you get your free ringtones from that is a legit site and is it really free???

TIA!:goodvibes

I got my monorail spiel from phonezoo.com. You need texting capability which I am sure isn't a problem for a teenage girl.

From experience, a google search will turn up all kinds of sites for free ringtones which turns out to be "free with subscriptions" type things, but I like phonezoo and it is free/no obligation.

ETA: Just realized you have a boy..sorry, my reading error.:flower3::)

Another vote for myxer.com. We've never had a problem downloading ringtones and there is a huge variety to pick from. Just make sure that your DS pays attention because some of them do cost money.

What kind of phone??

I have an iPhone and "roll my own". It's pretty easy.

This. It's very easy to make your own with iTunes, if that's a possibility for you all.

Is there a data charge with your phone service for these downloads?

There isn't for me since I download the file right into iTunes and then upload it to the phone.

I use makeownringtone.com, it's way better than myxer and others.
