Has anyone ever sat ringside for the Disney on Ice show????

I have an opportunity to purchase ringside seats for the Disney on Ice Worlds of Fantasy show for DD#1 & I. They are a bit pricey but I could manage. DD#1 has been taking skating classes for the past year and skating is something that she really enjoys. Plus she is a HUGE Disney fan.

I'd like her to be able to really see the skating but I'm not certain if ringside seats are actually really good seats to see this show. I remember going to Ice Capades as a child and being a bit envious of the kids in those seats right on the edge of the ice (as we climbed up to our seats in the nose-bleed section). I just really want to make this special for DD#1.

Any thoughts???

We usually go to the shows at the United Center in Chicago and those seats are awesome. This past show we were unable to get them and even though we were in the 5th row, my girls (2 and 4) still had trouble seeing with the people in front of them. So IMO they are so worth it. Sometimes the performers that are skating wave and talk to them during the show which they love.

I was able to get them one year for my 2 little cousins and they are now teenagers and still talk about those seats and we went every year. It was so worth every penny. HTH

We had ringside seats for the Princesses on Ice show that came through here a couple years ago. DD (3 at the time) loved it. After the show the princesses skated over to shake hands with the kids.

I guess I'm in the minority. We had them years ago, and my girls hated it! They were complaining that they couldn't see EVERYTHING. The like the up-close, but like the show better with a bigger perspective. To tell the truth, I like the seats farther away too!

Just to warn you, it is EXTREMELY loud. Like louder than the time out buzzer at a basketball game loud.

We sat ringside for Disney on Ice a couple of months ago and it was just amazing!
