Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

What a great playhouse! The girls look thrilled with it! Of course, with my Disney obessed mind, the first thing I thought was, "The girls have their very own Wilderness Lodge now!"

I thought the same thing when he was putting it together. But the finished product reminded me of the Fort Wilderness Cabins. So cute. I bet they are having a blast playing in it.

There's Trent again...
in a dress.

OK, as I scrolled these pics, this one caught my eye and I thought it looked like Trent, I'm glad I'm not crazy!

Cute playhouse! The girls will have so much fun I'm sure!

What beautiful photos!! And I spot a dis brother! My dis brother! :) didn't he look so grown up in his prom photos? I'll bring them over to my trip report tonight for those no friends with me on facebook

I wish I knew how to take really good fireworks pictures, but I am glad you liked that one. I'm not patient enough to do all of the things Drew tells me to do. I just put it on Auto, snap, and hope one out of a hundred comes out good.

You can add another Dis son to the key chains. My sons name is Cody!!:)

What a cute playhouse!!! With the doorbell & weathervane-so cute!!! I imagine they will get LOTS of fun out of it. The dog even seems to be enjoying it:)

That really is quite a playhouse, just perfect for two little girls to play in! When I was little I had a chicken coop...

Wow! Kudos to John for getting that together in just one day!

I'm laughing because my own dad is a "precisely precise" engineer... I participated in many of the same conflicts of opinion when I was little! ;)

May the girls have many safe and happy play hours in their new house!

A good day for builders. Handy Manny would be proud!

I need to get some kind of play thing for the girls to have here, but I doubt it will be a full-sized swing set. I'll have to be on the lookout for some fun backyard toy for them to climb around on. Bella is such a climber, I should probably just have a rock climbing wall put out back. :thumbsup2

 Speaking of Handy Manny, the little guy used his Handy Manny tools to help Fiance!

I'm sure you'll find something you like at Toys R Us! They have EVERYTHING!

I love the new playhouse! I bet Brooklynn will be out there every chance she gets this summer!

i'm a little sick of Handy Manny right now. LOL! For some reason that is all Caleb will watch lately and we only have 5 episodes on our DVR so we have watched them over and over again. We have 2 Handy Manny DVD's but I have no idea how to work our Blu Ray player with our Satelitte but he watches those over and over in the van. I have tried putting on MMC or chugginton which he will watch...but lately when i put them on...he just screams. So handy Manny it is...LOL! And he has been sick this weekend soo all he wants to do is watch Handy Manny!

That's true! So now you have me thinking we need to go over to Ft. Wilderness and get something with its logo to put on the house. ::yes::

Cute playhouse! The girls will have so much fun I'm sure!

She looks like his baby pictures, and her head is shaped exactly like his.
Her hair is his. She just needs brown eyes.
Well, and to be a boy, of course.

David looked awesome! Can't wait to hear about his big night.

This is getting funner by the minute!
We're definitely doing this 'game' again.

Ben saw the fake grill and thought there would be food. :rotfl:

I've always thought of writing a book.
I think I'll start with this one: From Chicken Coop to DVC, The Life and Laughter of Miss Anita Wigd. :goodvibes

Kathy

Then you, too, had an easy time imagining the scene. It will be a day to fear when Brooklynn has to do her first school project and John offers (insists) to help! :scared1:

Their new Fort Wilderness cabin, you meant, right? ;)

 Speaking of Handy Manny, the little guy used his Handy Manny tools to help Fiance!

None better than Handy Manny tools! :thumbsup2

I try to stay out of Toys R Us for that very reason!!!

She will. She loves to be outside.

Sorry you're on Manny overdose. It might just be one of those times he'll have to scream it out and watch something else. Can't have Mom going crazy. Stick in some good classic Disney movie and leave the room. I'm watching Lion King right now. Maybe he will get caught up in the music and awesomeness of Lion King! :)

the new playhouse reminds me of the wilderness lodge. :cloud9:

a mickey gnome outside is the perfect touch! i love mine - he always makes me smile. :)

Hey MeMom and Jill!! :wave2: I'm here, but a little behind on everything (DIS, life, etc...) after all our spring break fun! :) I saw Bella's bday pics on FB - glad you all had such a nice time and Bella had a great 1st bday!! :cutie: I also saw the new playhouse pics - it is the cutest!

I love that there's always so much going on here, it's just quite a task then catching up on two weeks worth! :surfweb: I tried to check in periodically while we were away but I was unsuccessful at actually keeping up. :upsidedow I'm only about 30 pages behind. :rotfl: I think there's even some new babies, right?? :woohoo:

What a fun playhouse!
There wasn't anything fun like that when I was little!

Love the girls' new playhouse! Brooklynn did a great job helping to set it up :thumbsup2 I also like her Ariel Girl umbrella!

Great idea to have Trent get a Mickey gnome for outside of it. Disney can be incorporated into any good project.

Yep, it does. :)

We'll check out Garden Town when we go and see what kind of fun things they might have for real houses and play houses. :thumbsup2

A Disney trip gets you behind on life, but it's worth it. :goodvibes

Three babies in less than a week. Not bad!

What a fun playhouse!
There wasn't anything fun like that when I was little!

We used trees and boxes for play houses. We had a lot of fun playing Swiss Family Robinson-type games. We were on a deserted island and had to make do with whatever we could find to survive. Conveniently, we had two orange trees in our backyard, so we didn't starve.

There was a real Indian Chief who lived on the opposite house from the island side house. He had a real totem pole in his backyard. We always had some kind of mystery going on on that side of the island. (Think Brady Bunch meets Swiss Family Robinson.) Our banana bikes were horses. :rotfl:

Aaah, the good old days!

That's an adorable playhouse! The girls will have so much fun playing pretend inside. :)

And 50+ years later, they can laugh at themselves with friends on a message board. ;)

Brooklynn was very proud of helping with the doorbell. I'll have to be sure and give it a try next time I am there.

What an adorable playhouse!

You've already got the Mickey gnome on order, maybe you could get a totem from WL and a wall hanging from Fort Wilderness too. Then it'd be good n' Disneyfied!:goodvibes

I know the girls will enjoy it. My kids had a plastic one and it gave them and their friends many hours of fun.:)

Okay. Wait a minute. How come when you're there you can find my name and I can't?! Every time I'm in any store in Disney I find Chris, Christina, and Christopher, but never Christine! That reminds me of when I was Christmas shopping for Kazin and Caleb. I was at Toys R Us and saw a sippy cup that said Caleb on it, but I didn't want to get him one because I knew I would never ever be able to find one that said Kazin :rotfl:

I can't tell you how much I love the title of that book!:goodvibes
It makes me feel like a true southern woman, of which I'm not....
but always wished I was.
:cutie:
