Yea! the picture have started. I missed a couple of days and had to catch up. This weekend it supposed to reach dow to 31 degrees as a low. so strange for us. Hope everyone is warm!

I've been like this

for several days. Two more days of this and then I think there's some relief in sight.

I'm here! Stuggling to catch up all week.

We got no snow, nada, zip the big zero. It looked like it might start but a big fat nothing to show for it.

Bella only in 3-6 month clothes???? Boy she is a peanut. My Jenny was small but I am not sure she was that small. I am sure Bella is like Dash since there is no weight to slow her down!!!

We keep getting little spurts of snow off and on. I haven't looked out in a while, so I don't know what it is doing now.

The day they were in the pool was very nice. It still got cool at night, though.

Bella is on the move whenever she can be - pulling herself up, crawling around, etc. She is so much like Trent was as a baby. There was nothing that stopped him from getting to where he wanted to be, and she's the same way.

Oh, I think we should get the same Grumpy shirt for all three -- they would never suspect.


You mean posing Bo for his Christmas picture is considered crazy? Nah!

They can be grumpy, if they want to. I just think they should excuse themselves to the room when they get that way and let everyone else keep having a good time.

Hey there's a great men's "Grumpy" tee online at the Disneystore.com for 5.99. I was window shopping online yesterday and put one in my cart for my DH - he may be a distant cousin of all of your grumpy hubbies- he may actually be the grumpiest as he said "No Disney this year" and he even said it in a fee fi fo fum sounding voice.

I saw some of those today.

no day off work for me :-( BUT my lucky DH got off today...the roads were really not that bad...but his boss does not really like to get out in the snow...so she called everyone off...soo...he got a daddy and caleb day! And poor mommy had to go to work. But I am glad I was at work...cause apparently caleb was clingy all day...i think he is teething...i am hoping maybe sometime he gets teeth # 5 &6...or maybe just #3&4 finally coming all the way down...that kid cannot grow teeth to save his life...but that does not stop him from eating everything in sight...MIL made steak the other night and he was able to eat 3 slices of it! LOL!

Jill said she thinks Bella may be cutting some more teeth, as she was a little ornery today. I'm sure Caleb will make up for lost time when he gets a mouthful of teeth. He will eat your paycheck away in a few years!

They always request the Football Helmet/field building and most of the time they get it- except for one instance during a Cheerleading convention/ fiasco- my mom said that my DS had his mouth dropped wide open most of time as the cheerleaders were all out practicing ( must have looked something like that but I would'nt know since they don't take pics!-I was actually looking for a "Hubba Hubba" smiley but that was the closest I could find) . Anyhow she called the front desk when they got to their room way back in another building and pleaded with them,she even played the "Grandma" card and it worked. I guess you could say she's a value resort snob!
I have seriously tried to convince them to stay at POP after reading all of your TR's but they are creatures of habit. My mom likes to know the lay of the land. They have the best time together- I always try and imagine what they are doing and thinking they must look so cute walking down Main Street together- and of course wishing I was there too.

I'd love to see them try Pop sometime, but I understand that you get comfortable with something, too. Maybe you guys could visit Pop on one of your trips and let her get a feel for what it is like. I know they have very special times together.

I just looked it up on Mapquest, and it takes 21 hours and 26 minutes to get from my house to Disney As much as I hate planes, I'll take the 3 hour flight over the 21 hour drive

We're heading to AAA to make our reservations tomorrow morning!

I have gotten spoiled to flying. It is nice just to be there and get started without being worn out from traveling.

Oh yay, you started! I love your pics of Wl. Brooklynn and Bella are so cute.
I think Mitch could be the 4th grumpy brother. I thought of getting him the grumpy pill shirt many times through out the trip.
That's so nice of Taylor Swift. Emily's loves her so I tried to get a ticket to her concert for her bday. 3 days after they went on sale they were sold out.
I'm glad to hear you got 2 snow days. Down here in Florida, it's been in the low 30/high 20s all week. Today it was in the 50s but tomorrow it's supposed to rain and then be in the 20s all of next week. We are on freeze alert for Sunday and Monday. So maybe we'll get an ice day. There is a chance of snow Sunday and Monday too. Yes, in Florida. The 2nd time in history. The kids are so excited to go outside and build a snowman but I told them not to get their hopes too high.

I have a cousin going to WDW for an anniversary trip in two weeks. I am hoping things get back to normal down there by the time they go.

I wish we had! I didn't go to work today because the roads were horrible in my county and they actually had the main road I take to work, closed!! I didnt' complain about it at all

No complaining here either. Up to five, I'll take them. After that, we have to make them up.

I did not have a DIS day!

I had a delay today, but went when the kids arrived 11:30 --- yes we start at 9:30 regularly--- to get some asessments and work done!

It's snowing again here, so we'll make a call on the Disney Store trip in the morning. We're not getting out if it is crazy, Disney or not.

9:30 is a really late start compared to us. We start at 7:45.

Oh my goodness MeMom and Jill the girls are too cute. They have the most beautiful smiles. I'm so looking forward to this report. I really enjoy them so much.
Oh by the way MeMom, did you happen to buy the purse we liked from the French Quarter? I didn't have a chance to get over there in November. I hope they still had them(if you still wanted one).
I am on a mini vacation right now. Denny is working out of town. The company he works for is doing a remodel of a restaurant in a casino in Tunica.
They are comping him a room because they are working on it 15 hrs a day to get it done faster. I came down to do his laundry and spend the weekend with him. I don't gamble, but I walked around and looked. I think I would rather spend my hard earned money on Disney trips.lol
There is a nice shopping mall a few miles away, I will most likely spend most of my time there tomorrow.

I did not buy the purse. I can't make myself pay that much when I don't have it. There is a bag on the Disney Shopping site where you make your own. You can get it plain black with just a Mickey or a Mickey head on it for $20, so that's probably what I will end up doing. It won't be nearly as nice, but it'll be just fine.

I'm with you on the gambling. I'd rather save it for Disney trips. I put in my dollar at school every Monday, and I figure if we're meant to win, my one dollar will have just as much of a chance as a bunch of dollars. If we ever hit it, you will hear a storm of teachers cheering as they leave the back door of our building!

Sounds like my DH, John (must be something about the name!) Of course my DS like that too!


It sounds like there are a lot of Grumpy men around. I told DH he should get a Grumpy shirt when we were there last week.


MY DS was over a year old before he got his first tooth!!!!! I thought he would never get them. The Dr told me, " Don't worry, they'll come in!" He was late losing his first tooth too (the beginnig of 2nd grade. He's in 3rd now)

Another shirt. We have a large order going!

I swear those girls get cuter in every picture I see of them! Sweet little Bella's smile just lights up your day! And Brooklyn has so much personality and is such a charmer! I can't wait to keep reading! I finally finished up the last TR while home sick with an eye infection and it totally cheered me up!

I wish I could say that I disappeared somewhere excited but really it was just life...new job, family moving in, re-doing the whole house, pneumonia, thyroid issues, etc,etc, etc. And as for Disney, I didn't have any trips in 2009 so I can't wait to get back! Hopefully there will be two trips for me this year. At least one thanks to DM!

Yay, the report has started!!!
As of Monday, I will be back with you from around 8.30am UK time everyday. I start back at work!
I am going to miss Toby sooooo much!
I am going back 4-days a week and he is going to a day nursery.

I need to save up Disney Reward points and tell him of the Pass, Visa and other discounts and make him think we are getting it for free.

I got an awesome discount at Mousegears when the cashier used the 20% from a counter service, Annual pass and VISA discount all in one transaction.

That would be the best angle or just go without him

We just got back from AAA and...

I'll be walking down Main Street in 5 weeks and 3 days

We leave from Rhode Island at 7:22 AM on Tuesday, Feb 16 and land in Orlando at 10:55 AM. And we land back in RI at 9:00 PM on Monday, Feb 22. So we 5 full days plus most of the two travel days for park time. And we get to stay at the Wilderness Lodge, because we had a pin code for 40% off Deluxe resorts. We saved 1000 dollars I'm only missing one day of school so that's not a big deal. We tried to get a flight back on Sunday but it's the week of vacation so the weekend flights are completely booked. Oh well, I'm not complaining

Now it's time for me to start obsessively planning and making ADR's! My mom lets me handle that

We just got back from meeting up with Jill, Memom, Brooklyn and Bella. What a sweet family. Thank you guys for meeting up with me and Abby. Abby was calling Brooklyn all the way home on her new Princess phone. She wants to save the Ariel stickers to give her next time.

The Disney Store had great deals. Everything was 40% the sale prices. I'm thinking next weekend will be over 50% off.

Looking forward to the next Hippo Meet. Or, maybe it will be a Cool Springs Meet since our beloved Opry Mills Disney Store is closing.

Just wanted to share this with ya'll. Short back story: this past Christmas was our year to have Alison (Clay and his Ex alternate holidays). For some reason her Mom decided to create some drama. She wanted to take some of Clay's time away for Christmas and they had a huge argument. She then started the campaign of filling Alison's head full of negative stuff about us. It got to the point where I seriously thought Alison would refuse to even come. Fortunately, it all worked out and we had her for the full amount of time.

We have Alison this weekend. She didn't have any presents for us for Christmas because we just didn't have time to take her shopping this year. When we picked her up she had presents for us. She gave Hannah a snowman ornament and gave Clay a gift card to IHOP. Here is what she got me:

The best present ever!!!!!! She knows I love/collect nutcrackers and that I'm crazy about WDW so she found the perfect gift that combined the two. I just LOVE it! This is one nutcracker that will stay out all year!

Back from the Hippo Meet and the pictures are loaded so join us for some Disney fun.

MeMom, Brooklynn, Bella, and I headed to Opry Mills around 10:15. We hadn't been on the road but a minute or two when I got a text from Kim (stasieki) saying they were on there way. I dropped MeMom and Brooklynn off at the door and went and parked the car. I got the stroller out and then Bella and then reached in for my diaper bag. It wasn't there. I headed inside and called Trent and told him I would buy him lunch if he would please bring me my bag. He agreed with minimal grumbling (couldn't really blame him it was freezing outside and he was in his nice warm bed.) We headed to Rainforest Cafe to wait for Kim and Abby. Brooklynn did some shopping.

I was standing outside waiting for Trent to pull up so I could get my bag. He pulled up to the curb and I ran to get my bag. I closed the car door and turned around to hear my name being called. It was Kim and Abby (and her DH who promptly headed to do his own shopping.) We walked to the Rainforest cafe, but Abby was not going in. She was on a mission to shop at the Disney Store. We did quick introductions and then Abby and Brooklynn took off toward the Disney Store. They would run a little ways ahead and then stop and let us catch up and then run ahead again.

We arrived at the Disney Store and started shopping. Everything was 40% off. Brooklynn and Abby were each allowed to pick two things to buy. I think they both got a pair of flip flops and a princess phone plus their two items of choice.

The Ariel doll came home with us as one of Brooklynn's items.

MeMom got some of these for our Playhouse Disney party we plan to have in the future.

It was time to get in line. The girls played while we waited our turn to pay. They each ended up getting Princess phones.

While everyone else headed for a potty break I took all the stuff to the car. We met back at the fountain and the girls all threw their money in and wished. We took a group picture.

We headed to the Carousel. The girls got their tickets.

They then chose to ride the teacup. Kim and I opted to stand outside the tea cup.

Then it was time to say goodbye. They were staying to eat at the food court and I owed Trent lunch.

We ordered lunch and picked it up here.

We had a great time shopping and meeting Kim and Abby. I'm sure once Baby Ellie gets here we will get together again so all the girls can play together.
