Rihanna and Chris Brown back together

She's seriously dumb for going back to him if it's true.

She's dumb. Most of the time when men strike their girl, they tend to do it again, despite all the "I'm sorrys."

Yeah but I heard he flipped at her because she was going psycho in his car and he told her to get out and she wouldn't. So he only hit her because she wouldn't listen but the smart thing for him to do was leave and keep the keys so she couldnt drive away and not hit her.

This is what I have heard from friends...not sure if it is the actual story

A guy should NEVER strike a woman because she wouldnt listen.

Rihanna is seriously dumb for going back to Chris, IMO. :sad2:
If a man ever hit me, I wouldnt go back to him. I dont think my mom or my friends would let me see him again even if I wanted to still go back.

Even if, that DOES NOT make it okay.
I read that a study from most teens, most teens believed Rihanna deserved it! I was STUNNED!

No girl deserves to be hit. And before anyone says "well why can a guy be hit?". A girl hitting a guy, and a guy hitting a girl are not the same thing at all. A man can pack so much force and velocity behind his hit the girl could be seriously injured.

Anyway, if she is back with him, all I can do is shake my head. Unfortunately, in most abusive relationships, the abusee doesn't realize they are being abused and say that the SO is "genuine no matter what".
:sad2:

I honestly can't say what I would do because I've never been in that situation. I'd like to think I'd beat the (bleep) out of him because I don't put up with abuse, towards me or towards anyone else.

And that makes it OK?

There is no excuse to hit a woman! Unless they have a weapon and are threatening you there is absolutely no excuse.

ITA with everything you said.

Hitting a PERSON is never ok it doesnt matter if they are a male of female...I was just saying she went psycho and he lost his cool.

I think she's stupid to go back to him.
I just think, is she sending the message that if someone is suffering from domestic violence that if the other person says sorry.. then it's okay?
:confused3
No one deserves to be hit.
End of.

I definitely don't think that's the case.
She has battered wife syndrome-- which is when a woman always goes back to a man who hits her because she loves him.
It's certainly not a good thing at all, but it's an unfortunate reality :sad2:

I feel sad for her, because you would think she would have enough good people surrounding her to support her in this time and help her get through it. And since she is in the spotlight, you'd think her "people" would be able to convince her not to go back to him--because it doesn't look good on either of them really.
Anyways that's my 2 cents.

ITA.
I say this purely based on stories I've read but it seems to me that more times than not the woman keeps going back.

Is she that desperate to go back to someone who beat her to a pulp? -shakes head-

i am disgusted.

if he will beat you once, he will beat you to death.

its called "learned helplessness"

Must be a bunch of chris brown fangirls

Yea, this girl in my politics discussion class...we were talking about internet free speech and whether or not it should be regulated. She said it should because POOR Chris Brown has been attacked when there is no proof. I can't believe the amount of people I have seen defending him! Especially women!

I feel bad for Rihanna. She is very young, just 7 months older than me. I was in a relationship for 2 years and I wasn't treated the best but I couldn't get over him. I wasn't physically abused but a lot of the things he said, like I needed bigger breasts or something really hurt me. I'd never put up with that now though.
