Can you ride the Skyliner gondolas with no park tickets, and not staying on sight?

I saw a sign saying guests should park at HS when riding for fun.

I'd sooner park at Disney Springs for free and take a bus to one of the Skyliner resorts for free, to be honest, since you have to pay to park at the parks.
Understood, but the property owner would rather you park at DHS.

Disney Springs is free, but if you're staying on property you won't have to pay at HS.

The OP asked the following question: Can you ride the Skyliner gondolas with no park tickets, and not staying on sight (sic)?

So yeah, given the original parameters, I'd sooner park at Disney Springs and take a bus to one of the Skyliner resorts if I wanted to joyride.
