Venice is a very expensive place to stay.
My disastrous stay was for 3 nights only and was in a nasty hotel.
A stay in Las Vegas, in a nice hotel I have had good experience with, for 6 nights, is literally HALF the price.
Cleaner. More plush. More to do (IMO). Longer. Cheaper.
Duh.
