I am flying into terminal B . I know normally you then take monorail to luggage pickup and out the door to transportation.

I wont have a checked bag. have previously been told still have to go there. The airport info Seems to suggest I can pick up uber at terminal b but its confusing. Ill have a time crunch so quickest is best!

Thoughts?

When you get to the terminal you go down to baggage claim area and book your uber then. It doesn't matter if you have luggage or not.

Yes, we normally exit right there by the baggage conveyor belts, and the rideshare area is right out there.

So there is baggage claim in all terminals and no need to leave arrival terminal to get ride share/baggage claim? Previously Ive always had to take their monorail to diff terminal..which Im trying to avoid

When you arrive at the airport at a gate, you need to take the train to get to the "terminal" area with baggage claim and parking. You can't exit the airport near the planes. This map might help:

You take the train, go out of the secure area, and go across to either Terminal A side or Terminal B side. One floor down is Baggage Claim, and 2 floors down is Ground Transportation.

Correct. The MCO terminology is that you get off your plane in an "airside," and then you ride the tram (monorail) to the terminal. There they say they have Terminal A and Terminal B, but in reality those are just two sides of one big building!

In your case, you'll get off the plane, ride the monorail to the Terminal B side, follow the crowd going down the escalator to baggage claim, walk outside the door, and then summon your Uber. You'll need to tell them the door number where you're standing.

Yeesh lol Ive always had baggage so options skipping luggage pick up havent come up. Unexpectedly confusing :) thank you!

OP, does this help? 1730841702876.png
You will get off the plane at one of the "satellite terminals" (labeled 1-4).
You get on a monorail to get to the actual terminal. Since you have no bags to collect, you can go down to Level 2 (apparently ride share doesn't count as "ground transportation") on the A or B side, go out a door and order your ride share (indicating what door you are at).

Great picture. I have been flying through MCO since the 90's and had no clue. Just followed the herd like a sheep! 😆

HAS SOMETHING RECENTLY CHANGED?
Ride share pickup is on level TWO, outside baggage claim. When you request rideshare you identify your location by the nearest exit door number.

Level ONE ground transportation. Buses, taxi etc

My memory is of it being on the level of baggage claim. Just go outside and you should see the rideshare area signs.
If that's wrong you can just go back in and go. down to1 :)

No it's confusing. I've gone down to level 1 before and it was wrong, unless I've got the whole thing flipped in my head.
I believe you just walk outside from baggage claim.

I edited my post.

The current map has an icon which shows ride share on level two. Signage in the airport is clear.

Edited to add the upload killed the readability.
Near the middle of level 2 is an icon of a phone with a car on the screen. That icon represents ride share
