Rides

What about the modified seating? I thought that adding that was supposed to keep this from being an issue?

Good luck pigby. I hope that it all works out for you.

They did push lightly, but it had already clicked in on me, so maybe that's not the "pushing" that is being referenced. Either way, I had no problem fitting, neither did dh. Good luck to those coming, I am hoping it will be a non-issue for you as well!

We have one large person in our group - will she have a better chance of fitting if she is on an outer seat?
I will be so bummed on her behalf if she can't ride. :(

Yes, the outer seats have modified restraints.

I am OP and I just got back to HRH from riding FJ. I fit no problems at all. They didn't even pull me out of line. I am 180 pounds 5'4 wear size 40DD bra.
The ride is great.

Did you ride in a modified seat on the end or a regular one? Glad you enjoyed the ride. I am anxious to try my luck in a few weeks

DH tried to ride after the seats were modified - but I wonder whether the 'test' seat outside the ride is modified or not - he just tried this one and was told he couldnt ride as couldnt get the three clicks.

The cast member with the test seat will tell you if you need one of the modified outer seats. Then once I knew I needed one of those seats, I would tell the cast member just before the moving walkway (unless it was very clear I would be either the first or last person in the group)

I understand that - I just wanted to know whether the test seat was modified - or are modified seats slightly larger than the test seat?

All of the seats are the same size- it's the restraint that's modified. And yes, the test seat is modified. There are three lights on the side of the test seat that indicate whether or not a person will be able to ride and which seat they can fit in. If the light remains red while testing it means they will not be able to ride. If the yellow light pops on it indicates they can sit in the modified seats on either end of the bench. If green also pops on it means they can sit in any seat.

Most of the roller coasters have self adjusting seats so you should still be able to ride them and let your inner child out!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Just to validate the others, I rode FJ yesterday - 5'4" and 187#. I sat in the bigger trial seat and the TM told me I could sit in any seat I wanted on the ride.

When I went through, I was with a family of 3, and they TM simply asked the larger woman in that group to change places with me. She obviously didn't belong to the Dis and had no clue why they wanted her to move away from her daughter. I had to mention that the seat was bigger and would be more comfortable for her, then I sat where her daughter had been and they all moved down.
