40min is tops for any ride for us. I think the longest we have waited was 30-35 for Everest and that was only because we were going to ge leaving AK before we could use our fastpasses.

The longest I have ever waited was a half hour and even then I'm not pleased about it. My family waited well over an hour for test track, I thought they were crazy. I shopped and had a beer while they were waiting for their ride.

On Christmas and New Years eve etc, do people actually wait in line 2 hours or more for a ride? Can you ride anything with crowds like that?

I would never wait 2 hrs...1 hour maybe for some but not 2.

We tend to go when it's not busy but I would not go when the waits are 2 hrs.

If the wait time is listed as more than 20 minutes, we keep moving.
If you plan accordingly, there's no reason for the wait. Ever.

Wow, this might be the most unanimous thread I've ever seen on the DIS! Count me as a none, too!

Add me to the none list.:thumbsup2

We have a 20 minute wait limit, if the wait is more than 20 minutes we keep moving.

We only do WDW when school is out. That means our trips always include large crowds. However, it's still possible to avoid crazy wait times and have a blast.

Get to the parks early
Use EMH
Always have a fastpass in hand.

2 hours is a bit long, and I would most likely not wait for much. But I picked buzz lightyear. To me, most of the others you listed are good, but some are just coasters that you can do similar things are normal amusement parks. Buzz lightyear is an experience you can only get at MK.

but i do spend from 230-8pm most afternoons watching Off Kilter!
:thumbsup2

With a beer as your companion I hope. We have waited that long for Splash Mountain, Many moons ago, and actually the wait was fun.

I didn't see Soarin on the list. Even though I wouldn't wait 2 hours, I'd wait a while for it.

Why isn't Soar'in on the list? This would be the only ride I would consider waiting in an extremely long line, yet it is not a choice.

None, including Soarin' and other rides not listed.

Now maybe if I had a kid who was adamant on going on Dumbo, I'd have to keep quiet and stand in line with him.

At any rate I would curse under my breath that I visited on the wrong day.

There is no ride waiting 2 hours for. Get up and get to the parks 2 hours earlier.

I would also vote none. I always wait for shorter lines or go early and go to the popular ones first thing.

I did wait 1 1/2 hours for Splash Mt. once at DD's insistance, only to have it go down

Another "none." Half an hour would be pushing it for me (actual waiting in line, that is, not [for example] sitting around in Liberty Square eating fruit and waiting for the next Hall of Presidents show).

Agree with everyone else: none.

Our usual limit is 20 mins. I will extend that to 30 mins for certain rides in certain circumstances.
