My family is going to DL next weekend for my birthday. My sister and her husband will be bringing their 2 month old son. Are there any rides that he would be able to go on? I was thinking perhaps IASW but any other suggestions or advice??

There are plenty of rides that baby can go on, plus they have a baby swap, where one parent goes on and then the other goes afterward. If you have additional kids that are big enough for those rides, they usually let those kids ride with each parent!

In DL the baby can go on all of the "dark" rides - Pooh, Pinocchio, Snow White, Peter Pan, Alice and Mr. Toad - IaSW, Storybook Train, DL RR, Jungle Cruise, PotC, HM.

In DCA, you have shows - Aladdin, Playhouse Disney, Muppets and Golden Dreams - Bug's Land Rides, Ferris Wheel (non swinging side) and Monsters Inc.

There's a lot you can do with a baby. I would suggest bringing both a stroller and a baby carrier (like a Baby Bjorn). Also, there is a Baby Center in each park with rocking chairs. In DL it's just before the circle on the right side of Main St. In DCA it's in the back of the Mission Tortilla Factory.

Have fun.

We took my son at that age. Pretty much everything in FantasyLand, Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Winnie the Pooh,IASW,Buzz Ride. My son loved looking at everything and all the lights. For all the other rides use Baby swap. Have a good trip!!

When we took our infant son to DL/DCA, he went on everything that didn't have a height requirement (except the Astro Orbitors). He did wonderfully. No problems at all. Some of the dark rides can be a bit loud though and I did cover his little ears at times.

Have a great time!:thumbsup2

Now remember what happened with Michael Jackson & Steve Irwin. We don't want to see you on the news dangling a baby out the front of the log on Splash Mt. just to get a good photo op!:rotfl2:

definitely hyena worthy!

We did DL several times when ds was just a baby. We would go with the family on all the above rides mentioned then when it was time to feed or change we would split up and they would go on the rides that ds couldnt. It worked pretty well.

not advocating it, but we once saw a baby on astro orbiter in a bjorn and asked DM how old and she said 6 weeks. So i guess the baby can go on anything w/o height restrictions. But i would not recommend astro orbitors.
