Rides with a 6month old

Of course from the obvious (like Big Thunder, Splash and Space Mountain), can I pretty much take my 6month old on most of the rides at the Magic Kingdom? We are going tomorrow and wanted to know. Thanks.

I don't know about most of the rides.....

What I would do is start with the mildest ones, like Dumbo, or Its A Small World. Then see how she reacts. If she is fine, then move up a notch.....like Pooh.....and so on.

You know her better than we do, but I would avoid anything with loud sudden noises, or scary images.

As far as just restriction wise, your baby can ride most of the things at MK. However, how the baby will react that's another story. We took my neice (she was a bit older) and found she did the rides fine, but didn't like the shows at most of the parks. (too many explosions and such).

At 6 months (and 3 months and 9 months) my daughter went on just about every ride without a height restriction (didn't do AstroOrbiter, but that was mostly cause I feel like I'm going to fall out so I didn't want to take her on it) at both WDW and DL. She loved every 'kiddie' ride, but definitely liked the indoor ones better. What I mean is that while she liked Dumbo, Triceratops Spin, and Aladdin, she liked Peter Pan, Pooh Bear, etc. much better. And it makes sense cause at that age they don't realize Dumbo is a ride or that they're in an elephant, but they like looking at the scenes in the rides like Snow White. Have fun!

At 9 months old my DS went on every ride that did not have a height restriction. And he loved all of them!

Beware of attractions that are very loud (most indoor ones)
