Hi everyone.
We 1st timers are off in 12 days................................yippee!!

Just thought I'd ask all you experts when you arrive at the Disney parks where do you head first...........
and which is the MOST important ride to try and get fastpass for?

Thanks alot.:wave2:

ps.Never got around to putting timer on, wish I had now:D

It really depends which park you are at and what type of rides you enjoy.

At MGM I try and get on Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster first (fastpass on and queue for the other) as they are the two premier attractions and the queues build up quite quickly.

At Epcot Test Track always has a long wait unless you get on early or are prepared to go on as a single rider, I would expect Mission Space to be similar although when we were there last year we walked straight on first thing in the morning and it broke down shortly after so we didn't try again.

At Animal Kingdom it's worth getting on Kilimanjaro Safaris early as a lot of the animals start to rest when it gets too hot during the day and can be difficult to spot.

At the Magic Kingdom we found that a lot of the rides in Fantasyland start to get a long wait quite early on so if you have younger children who particularly want to get on these it's probably woth making a beeline for these first.

If you are staying on site it is well worth taking advantage of the perks and getting into the parks whilst it's restricted to Disney Guests only.

Whatever you do I hope you have a lovely time. :teeth:

Hi there

Like AlanUK we head straight to MGM Studios on our first day. We get a fastpass for Tower of Terror and join the line for RnRC.

When we visit Epcot we get a fastpass for Test Track and join the line for Mission:Space, and at Magic Kingdom we get fastpass for Big Thunder Mountain and get on Splash Mountain.

Have a fantastic Holiday DisdreamerUK

PS Where are you staying?

Thanks Alan & mandymouse.

We're staying in a villa at Windsor Palms but have got 1 night at RPR at Universal.

The kids are 10 & 8 and don't seem to be excited as Mum & Dad!!

We just wanted some idea of what to do when we arrive first, or I can imagine we'll be just following the crowds aimlessly. We are hoping to get some early starts to hit the main rides when the parks open. Well, thats the plan although both DDs love their sleep so getting them out of bed may be a problem!!

If you have little ones:
At MK, go for the Dumbos first, cos they are definately going to want to do them and the queue borders on ridiculous for the type of ride it is! Get a FP for Winnie the pooh while you're waiting for Dumbo.
Otherwise, head for Frontierland and FP splash Mountain while riding Big Thunder or vice versa.
At AK, get FP for Rapids/ Dinosaur while riding the Safaris,(always safaris first thing so the animals are active)
At MGM, get FP for Tower of Terror and hop on Rock & Roller while you wait
EPCOT, get FP for Mission Space , ride Universe of Energy, then after FP, get next FP for Test Track. Innoventions is a good way to fill up time between FP.

Hope this helps. By the way, I always have to go to MK first, not because its the sensible thing to do, but because I know I'm really here when I see the castle. The tears come every time!!::MinnieMo
