Rides to Avoid When Pregnant

Hey Everyone,

We just found out we are pregnant! We also leave for DLP in three days ~ can anyone tell me which rides to avoid? We are 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow!

I think the main rides to avoid are the ones with lap bars (Eg: The coasters, etc....)..... I'm really sorry I can't help more I just wanted to say congrats! What a lovely early Christmas present!

I'd avoid all the coasters and bumpy rides esp since it's the beginning of your pregnancy.

What great news!!!

Bumpy rides are all the coasters (except casey jnr), Tower of Terror and Star Tours.

I would personally do Pirates still, as its a smooth ride and the drops are no more than you'd get going over a bump in a car! Also, it's a lot less movement than plane take offs and landings and they'd let you fly!

Phantom Manor wil be fine too, as its just as slow as the kiddy rides.

Congratulations! What a beautiful Christmas present for you both.

I wouldn't worry too much about rides. For your peace of mind, I would probably avoid the big coasters but the baby is well protected at this stage. I fell from the top of our wooden staircase to the bottom at 6 weeks pregnant - hitting every step on the way. I was black and blue. The baby (my beautiful middle DD) is 5 on Valentine's Day....

huge congratulations - what a fab xmas pressie!!!!!!

the others have said it all really - just make the most of kiddie rides!!!

also - if u can get sum travel bands (the sea sickness type) as u cud be headin into morning sickness time, and with all the diff smells around, sum might make u queasy - and these will help (along with ginger biscuits lol)

have the most fun time - and i bet u spend the whole time imagining what u will show ur lo when u takee them to dlrp after theyre born!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
