Are there any rides at AK, MK, MGM, Epcot that you would avoid for 7yr old and 8yr old girls?

That would depend on the 7 & 8 yos. I have a 8yo DNph who is afraid of BTMRR but not of ToT, he loved RnR and didn't like HISTA (which his 5yo DSis loved). It all depends on the child and what they like. I would say a lot of the rides are a pretty safe. The ones I would imagine could be a problem would be RnR & ToT at MGM, Dinosaur at AK, SpM, HM, at MK, MS at EPCOT (all of these are dark thrill rides, which some children don't care for). This is JMHO. HTH :cool1:

DS was almost 9 when we went in January. We skipped Mission: Space because we were afraid it would make us sick (all of us, not just him). We skipped RnRC because we had heard the kids' heads get bounced around quite a bit. We skipped Splash Mtn. and Kali River Rapids because we didn't want to get wet (it wasn't nice enough weather to be wet!).

We rode ToT and DS HATED it! He really likes roller coasters, but ToT is different. He wanted to ride it but when it was over it turned out that he really didn't enjoy it AT ALL. He's not sure if he wants to try it again.

It really does depend on your children and what scares them. If they are tall enough they might want to ride everything! Have fun!

My DD was 8 last year when we went and she was into all rides. She is a thrill seeker and was upset about not being allowed on the Hulk, 2 inches too short. Even MS she loved, but ToT was her favorite.

The only thing that got her was when the shark popped up on the Jaws ride at Universal.

ITA :) It depends on the kids.

My 6 yr old DD is planning on riding everything she is tall enough for, my 8 yr old DS doesnt even want to ride Dumbo.

DD(twins 8) loved all of the thrill rides at MK last year (SpaceM, BTMR, SplashM). One love Haunted Mansion, the other hated it (citing issues with darkness...the same kid who loved the also dark Space Mtn, calling it "my favorite ride ever"). Maybe it was more the theming. She will be offered a chance on ToT in 6 weeks, we'll see how that goes. I won't be surprised if she and I skip it!
Good luck. :wizard:
