My list
Haunted Mansion
Spaceship Earth
Great Movie Ride(Maybe add some scenes from Disney classics such as the Lion King)
Star Tours
Snow White

Whats yours?

I don't think they should tamper with the classics.

Look what happened to Pirates!

I think Stitch's Great Escape was a giant mistake and they should start from scratch there though.

I like the second version of Spaceship Earth with Walter Crondile - better than the other 2 (might be 3) versions.'

I also liked that this ride had more stuff. not so many dark areas.

they have updated Snow white - remember before this update Snow white was not on the ride at all. only the witch.

I love Haunted Mansion and Star Tours - what would you change with either of them. very disappointed that the movie did not follow the legend very well. but I blame that on the silly movie.

POC did a much better job following the movie. besides I like the new version - yes it has a bunch more lights and almost happy ending. but little kids were a little scared of the first ride. besides mother hated the originally it was much too dark for the elderly - she loves the new one.

I agreed with Stitch.

Good point. I also think that Cinderella's castle should be replaced with Pride Rock.

Yes but Snow White is just a bunch of cardboard cut outs. They need to make it more Disney! Stitch just needs to be demolished!

Star Tours needs to be updated - badly.

I won't even go on Stitch.

Leave the rides as they are, just need occasional rehabbing. Why are you wanting to change WDW so much?

Probably because I think the rides I listed need a little updation... Im not trying to change WDW at all...

Journey into your Imaginatoin needs to be restored to it's original version with Dreamfinder and Figgy.

Stitch has to be the worst attraction of any of the theme parks in Orlando. This would include Universal as well as Sea World.
Whoever approved of this or thought this up should make a great escape.... far far away from Disney.

Star Tours. Give it a Mission Space (maybe not quite as harsh) treatment. Maybe something even more ground-breaking. Don't know what, but when Disney and Lucasfilm put their heads together, they would probably come up with something ridiculously state-of-the-art.

El Rio del Tiempo. At the VERY least, the film segments need to be re-shot. They were shot in 1982 and they look it.

I would re-do SPLASH MOUNTAIN. Yes, it may be blasphemy, but give it a another couple drops. More roller coaster action. Make sure people get more wet!

I agree about Star Tours. If you've ever ridden Spiderman at IOA or even Back to the Future at US, I can only imagine the potential that a Star Wars themed virtual/actual ride could be.

Anyone with George Lucas' email, please forward this. :rotfl:

Sounds Dangerous at MGM needs updated lighting. It's way too dark. You can't see anything.
;-)

I also would like to see Star Tours updated. At least do an new movie concept and reprogram the simulators. Wouldn't it be fun if they could vary this ride like they do with Tower of Terror? I would think reprograming the simulators would be easy but they would need to redo the projection system as it currently uses an actual film reel and thus can not be changed on the fly.

A Spiderman type ride would not be an update - it would be a complete new ride. Star Tours is really simply a fancy flight simulator. Spiderman cost over $100 million to build several year ago. I doubt Disney would spend well over $100 million to replace a ride that is still popular. That money could be much better spent on other projects.

I don't think they should change rides just for the sake of changing them.....that being said ;)

El Rio de Tiempo definitely needs some rehab at the least (which luckily its getting)
Splash Mountain needs some rehab, broke down twice when I was there in July both times I went on it
Space Mountain.....to be next to all of the other rides this just seems really outdated :confused3

and Stitch just needs to go...... :rolleyes1

Id go for that sounds like a good idea!!

What about Wireless guns for Buzz Lightyear? Of Course Tomrrowland Speedway needs a update as well and its a given that it should be themed by the movie Cars...
