Rides that make you ill

My DH and I are both motion sensative. I never used to be, I think it an age thing. :lmao: Anyway here are a list of rides to stay away from if you get motion sickness.
Star tours
Mission Space
Teacups, Magic Carpets, Dumbo, Cinderalla's Carrousel (around and around)
Body wars
Primeval Whirl
Expedition Everest (I think because it goes backwards too!)

Soaring didn't bother us and I've yet to try TOT.:scared1: LOL! I'm thinking I may get my courage up this year for my DS's sake.:yay:

the teacups...DH has to take DD on that one.

Our DD is kind of lucky in that I can do any coaster with out a problem, but no spinny our simulator rides, my DW and do spinny and simulator rides but does not like coasters so between the 2 of us our DD has it covered. Neonurse ToT creates no problems for me what so ever I love that ride.:thumbsup2

Actually, what can make me queasy faster than anything are the circlevision movies. When they do those drop and bank moves, my stomach goes right along with them. Since I started using Bonine though, I haven't had any trouble.

Oh me too there use to be one a long time ago at Salisbury Beach Ma and even when I was young and could do the scrambler and tea cups the circle vision movies would make the vertigo kick in.

Some forms of free flowing graphics on the computer can do it to me also.

Tower of Terror - got real nauseous after 7th or 8th drop.
Expedition Everest
Tea Cups
Oh, Canada

basically anything that spins.

Rollercoasters i'm fine with, but kiddie rides :crazy2: . the worse i have ever felt was on the teacups, but that was because my DH thought it would be fun to spin it really fast. The body ride and flying carpets are another :crazy2: . I aslo remember that the spacemountain ride in paris made my dad feel ill all day after riding it on my first ever trip.

I haven't done roller coasters in years. My dad made me do them as a kid, now I won't even look twice. Drives the DH nuts. I also won't do TOT or Dumbo/Carpets/Astro Orbiter. I don't know if it's motion sickness or what, but yuck.

On our next visit I won't do Test track either The smells associated with that ride made me ill most of the day.

LOL But then while most of the family is doing the rides, I get to spend money in the shops. So it's a fair trade.

Mission:Space would put me in the hospital without Dramamine, I'm convinced. I don't like it even with Dramamine, I still feel queasy, so I'm not doing anything but the Green side in the future.

AstoOrbiter, the queue and the elevator give me claustrophobia, for starters, and then the ride itself makes me ill. I had to ride it last time with my face buried in my husband's back, with my eyes shut, and vowed never again. Too bad, because it's a great view. I wish it went slower, that might help.

I can handle anything but the teacups! Those darn things always make me feel sick! If I go on I have to close my eyes the whole time!

RnR did me in! I hadn't rode a coaster in years, and was "double-dog-dared" to ride it. NEVER AGAIN! I was sick for a good 2 hours afterward. I have no problem with the simulators or teacups...go figure.:confused3 :hippie:

Mission Space makes me Queasy but not sick and also teacups.

Expedition Everest made me feel terrible!
And for some reason, the last time I went on ToT, I felt really sick, yet it's my favourite ride and I'd done it so many times before. So I'm still in denial about that one :rolleyes1 Wont stop me riding ToT but I will not go on Everest again.

Tea cups...haven't tried Mission Space, but 1 time Star Tours made me sick, but last time I was totally fine.

EE made me feel weird cause it poped my ears but not really sick and occasionally space mountiain does it but other than that everythin else is fine with me :)

Mission Space is the only ride that did me in. I didn't actually feel queasy, just a little off for about the next hour. I hang out at the gift shop now while DH and DS ride.

I don't know how to even explain this one - Body Wars. Nothing else makes/made me sick...even Star Tours or any other simulators. Thought the first time I went on it was a fluke, so I went on it again on another trip, and it did the same thing too. Not sorry to see this one not open!:rotfl:

Nothing else - ToT, RnR, etc. makes me sick, nor anything at any other amusement park.

I don't usually have any problems, but it seems to me that the few times I have gotten dizzy were first thing in the morning rides....
We did Mission Space when it was first opened, and they were still taking surveys, and DD needed a half hour sit down upon completion of our mission.
Then a long long time ago in a galaxy far away, I did the Star Tours ride. I think I may have enjoyed one two many wines at dinner the night before, so I may have been slightly spinning before the ride, but I was lost in space that day.
I am just wondering if morning is worse than other times of the day for anyone else?

Primeval Whirl, Star Tours, Body Wars (when it's open)

It's those teacups. Going around doesn't get me, but going around in two or three different planes will do it. :scared:   :crazy2: :( :faint: (Yes, all of those and then some!) I have no problem w/coasters or the Dumbo-type rides.
