Rides that are not too strong on impact

Hello. I've never been to Disney World before, but I'm planning to go this year. The thing is, my husband can't go on rides with too much impact (due to a medical condition). I want to get a fast pass in advance but I don't know in what rides he can go. Can someone help me? I need to know what rides are more light on impact. As na exemple, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: Does it have high falls or bumps? I'm interest in Test Track too. For a fact I know that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is a no go.
Thank you very much!

I would post this on the Disability part of this board or a moderator can move for you,

But it would help to know a little more about what he can do, as all roller coaster can and often do come to a hard stop at the end, the boat rides will bump into each othother at the end

Thank you for the reply. How can I move the post?

It really is going to come down to how much of an impact he can take. Most of the rides will have some amount. All of the free flow boat rides can have an impact front and back. Dumbo, Magic Carpets, Astro Orbiter (maybe) and Triceratops Spin can have an impact when it starts and near the end.

This is what I would consider a no-go based on the information:
MK: PotC, Splash Mtn, BTMRR, IASW, 7DMT, Barnstormer, Dumbo, Teacups, Speedway, Space Mtn, Astro Orbiter
Epcot: Test Track, Mission Space (maybe), Mexico ride, FEA maybe (not sure the boats can bump each other).
DHS: RnRC, ToT, TSMM (depending on if spinning can impact), Star Tours
AK: EE, KRR, FoP, Na'vi River, Triceratops Spin, Primeval Whirl, Dinosaur, KS (may have some stops and go's that have an impact)
TL and BB: Pretty much any slide

If you go to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/ you can see information about all the attractions. Select the ones you want and go in and see what the requirements and description has to say. It even has "Accessibility" information.

To many rides and attractions to try and judge the "Impact" for your husband. If you could narrow it down to more specifics, it's much easier.

but like I was saying it might help to know a little more, as there might be someone with some similar disabitly going and can give you better advice

Thank you for all the replys!

So, there is no problems with speed, but it would be a problem if the ride has high speed and then come to an abruptly stop or "crash" into something. Stay upside down would be a problem too.

The ones we're more interest are: Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Test Track, Soarin, The Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Toy Story Mania, Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur (sorry for the long list).

So a "Light" bump (as in boats stacking up at the end to unload like PoTC is okay?)

I would think if speed is not an issue then Test Track is okay. A bit of a "Jerk" when accelerating. Soarin' also shouldn't be an issue. Star Tours is more of a shaking around. I might be a bit concerned about that one depending on the "Impact" that can be handled. Toy Story and Buzz Light year are mostly spinning and moving along the track. No real impact.

A light bump as you mentioned is ok. Maybe too much shaking is a little concerning.
Thank you for the help :)

Jungle Cruise: Easy going, no issue
Pirates: There's about a 15 ft drop, and frequently towards the end boats bump into each other. I wouldn't call it a jarring bump but it can be decent
7dmt: Smooth kid coaster. I don't think it has anything you should worry about
Buzz: Just spins but you control it. No abrupt stops
Test Track: There is a part where it simulates the brakes on a car. Not a dead stop, but it is fairly quick..It's like braking and your seat beat locks up. Also a lot of twists and turns. If someone has a bad back or can't handle simulated car manuevers, I would avoid it
Soarin: Smooth
Great Movie Ride: Smooth and slow moving
Star Tours: 3D motion simulator. No abrupt stops but seat does bounce some and move. You stay in one room
Toy Story: Just has a few spins. Majority of the ride you're sitting still shooting at the screens
Kali: Water ride so can be bumpy, but it's not bad. Be prepared to get completely drenched
Dinosaur: Roughest ride out of probably all the parks. We love it, but it does have a lot of jarring motions. No impacts, but it does simulate a ride vehicle traveling through prehistoric time offroad. I would definitely avoid if your husband can't do bumps

I guess we should avoid Dinosaur then, and maybe Test Track :( Thank you! You helped a lot!

Jungle Cruise, for the most part this should be fine there was one time the CM for got there was a boat infant of us and had to stop all of a sudden
Pirates of the Caribbean, at the end the boats can hit each other, and there is a drop in the ride

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, at the end the ride car dose stop quickly and it can push you forward

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, should not be a problem as it is a constantly slow moving and you can make it spin or not.
Test Track, fastest ride at Disney and it stops kind of fast at the end.

Soarin, should be ok little movement, if he can sit up with out help he should be ok

The Great Movie Ride, slow moving ride should be ok
Star Tours, would not do

Toy Story Mania, whips you around quite fast around turns

Kali River Rapids one ride I have never done
and Dinosaur would not do way to jurkey

I would suggest you check out some youtube videos. There are some good ones out there and that can give you an idea of the amount of jarring involved.

Enjoy your vacation!

I find that most of the coasters (7DMT included) has a jarring stop just before the ride vehicle re-enters the loading area. I've even been jarred on Small World.
