heading to dl and dca Thai thu-sat but notice a few rides labels temporarily closed...not closed for refurbishment.
What does this mean and for how long closed?
Thoughts?

The app will identify rides as 'temporarily closed' if they are indeed, temporarily closed. Like if there is a glitch on Space Mountain or Indy and they have to restart the ride system computers, or if someone's belongings fall onto a ride track. They'll shut down the ride to fix the problem and then open it back up when they can. Sometimes rides are unable to open back up, and then it may say 'temporarily closed' until the next day.

I've been watching wait times on the app to plan for our upcoming trip and it seems that lots of rides are "temporarily closes" throughout a day. Some for a long time. I wonder if it is more than normal?

Yesterday at the same time RSR, Goofy's Sky School, Luigi's, Midway Mania, and Screamin were all down at the same time. Some of that might have been due to the rainy weather, but obviously MWM shouldn't have been affected. It made for a lot of long lines and wandering around. Later in the day one of the theaters at Soarin was down that made for a really long line!

I was just there and it seemed like there were tons of rides that were temporarily closed. Way more than usual. Little mermaid was down for most of last week. Indy, pirates, space, and haunted mansion were also down a lot. Each of them a couple of hours during our Halloween party. I am hoping it is just because the crowds were insane last week and they couldn't manage to keep everything running.
