I can't remember what it is called, but when we went years ago you were able to take turns going on the rides if adults needed to stay with children. Me, my husband and my 16 year old daughter will be going on the "big" rides, but someone will need to stay with the little ones.

I never actually did this, but how does it work?

This is how it worked in June. :)
The rides available for rider switch are all the rides that have a height restriction.
If you have a child under the height limit then you walk up to the entrance with the small child and ask for a rider switch.
Then whomever is riding proceeds through into the queue, and the rest of the party goes and does what it wants to do.
To use the rider switch you go to the fastpass line and proceed through there.
The rider switch is good for a total of 3 people.

Could my daughter and husband go on together and then I ride alone after?

Yes but you don't have to. The person who rides first gets a pass for 3 people to go on. So your daughter could ride again if she wants. Our older kids eat that up!

So is this right???:
1. My party of 6 (1 infant) will approach the entrance to a ride with a height restriction.
2. We ask for a rider switch and get one from the cast member.
3. DH and 3 kids ride the attraction while I take baby for a diaper change.
4. DH and 3 kids get off the ride. DH takes the baby.
5. I and 2 kids (rock, paper, scissors winners) go to the FP line and give the cast member the rider switch?
6. Everyone's happy except the rock, paper, scissor loser.
7. Repeat with me riding first and DH changing diaper.

You got it! :teeth:

There are four of us-- me, dh, dd (will be 7 when we go) and ds (will be 2).

Can she go on with each parent? Basically she gets to go twice?
