Well, a little like the popular saying for another travel destination in the U.S., "What happens at Disney, stays at Disney!" After this long, I'm sure I won't remember ALL the embarrassing things that you did during our trip......... Well, at least not the ones Katharina did anyway!

Since I know that you are a perfect gentlemen, I am certain that you would never post anything emberassing about your lovely German friends!

The prices for pasta ARE a little high at Tutto, but the food is very good, and I don't think any of us has left there still hungry after the meal. The portions are usually more than enough. Maybe they should cut down on the servings a little, and similarly the price??? Like everything else with Disney dining, there are some selections that are a very good deal and some not so much it seems.

Makes me think that Tutto might be a great place to go and just share a portion of pasta...

Marv I have only a minute to say how bummed I would be about the missing pork chops..I know how you are about things that used to be on the menu at places... I am the same way...

But seriously, am I the only one who thinks that pasta looked like caterpillar larvae or some kind of weird worms covered in tomato sauce. I nearly gagged!

So...please be careful with pics that you post...especially of ME please!

Nah, Marv won't be doing anything to embarrass his nice German friends when I start on the October part of the trip........International relations you know. Of course you have been here in America long enough Rosie, so that rule doesn't apply to you anymore........... But I'm not about to spoil the fun I get to have with you during that portion of the trip, so like everyone else you will have to wait for any potential (okay, with some of the pics you have posted of yourself the word embarrassing is out........) humorous antics that occurred at that time!!!

Chapter 19 – O'Hana Breakfast/Travel Day



When we got back to the room from our dinner at Tutto Italia we got started on packing for the ride home. I had made a later morning breakfast reservation that would give us time to get ready, load the car, check out and make the drive over to the Poly. We got everything done quickly and headed to our 10:30 ADR at

We arrived in plenty of time to take a few pictures on the way in.

Since we were walking in from the parking lot we had to take the stairs to get to O’Hana. Of course on the way you have to take the requisite Bamboo HM pic.

We checked in and got our leis, but opted not to get in line for the photo shoot. We found a place to sit and wait to be called for our ADR. Andrew and Jonathan kept themselves entertained with the typical teen distraction…….the electronic device.

We got seated and the characters began to show up very soon after.

Stitch was showing off for the camera. I might have mentioned I needed a special picture for his biggest fan……Ms. Kathy!

Sorry, no picture of the platter of food that they bring out except this one where it was mostly already gone. I think plenty of pictures have already been posted of the breakfast offerings on the DIS anyway.

I do know that plenty of juice sacrificed itself for our enjoyment. While sitting at the table I noticed these on the ceiling above. I thought they were very interesting.

We finished breakfast, settled our bill and headed for the car. It was time to leave for home, and I think everyone was ready to go. After a quick stop for gas we were on the road. Unlike the ride home from our New Year’s trip with the wreck right in front of us and the vehicle running into the construction barrel, this drive was happily uneventful.

This concludes our summer trip, but it’s not the end of this trip report. Having APs makes it easy to sneak in an extra trip and that opportunity came two months later……….

I am really looking forward to read your tales about the October trip. Just looked at the pictures you sent me and that got me very excited to hear you report about the trip. I had nearly forgotten how many beautiful pictures of that fantastic Halloween parade you had! That parade was truly one of the highlights of the trip for me (despite the long wait that I had caused by getting the start time mixed up...).
