Hiya

Ghostbusters, yes I remember that I think last time I saw that was 1995/6 somewhere around there, went on a trip with boyf at the time lol. Sometimes when I ride "the haunted mansion" at MK the section with the ghost ball and dancing holograms behind the glass reminds me of ghostbusters.

I miss 'Back to the future' already! DH never got to ride it :-( and he loves the films. I loved the que with 'the doc' on screens! It was sad to the DMC on it's on last April with no ride.

Something else I vaguely remember from visting in 1989 with my parents was something under the sea 2000 leagues under the sea? not sure which park, but I remember being ushered into a fake like submarine - was it a dream? um....:confused3

Wild Wild West Stunt Show was excellent at Univeral but now sadly gone and turned into the horrible show that I cannot recall the name of!

Claire ;)

I wish they'd bring back Tapestry of Nations at Epcot - that's my fave parade of all :thumbsup2

I loved Tapestry of Nations!

We got a cool video from Universal in the early days when you could play Star Trek characters and fight the klingons - I still remember my nephew asking me what i felt like to be beamed up :rotfl2:

Twisters has replaced ghostbussters which was a bit of a shame, although twister is great. And I beleive although I could be wrong the wild west show is now fear factor live.

Discovery Island (the real one - not at Animal Kingdom), I only visited once before it was closed.

King Kong (my main reason for visiting US), I loved the queue line and seeing all the coins that had been thrown onto the scenery.

Alien incounter :scared1:

Only did this once and hated it. Bex was only 5 so i had her screaming beside me while i was trying to stay calm myself :lmao:

I was never that impressed with alien encounter, or The stitch one to be honest. I always liked Delta dream flight, How sad is that for a 25 year old hehe

the origanal earthquake whith that NRA guy

Do they still do the bit with U571 in it? I tell you what thats 2 ways to kill a film right there. Completely change the course of history and put Jon Bon Jovi in it!

Me tooo :sad1: My bf still hasn't quite accepted that he'll never ride it! Simpsons versus Back To The Future... No contest methinks!!
I'm also in favour of bringing back Tapestry of Nations :thumbsup2

I was gutted when I heard back to the future was gone! Before I heard but after I decided to go to Florida, I bought the box set so the kids knew what it was when they rode it! Ah well, love the films!

Hanna Barbara ride changed to Jimmy Neutron at Universal, don't know half the characters in the new version.

There used to be a Hitchcock show where Shrek is now in Universal, never went in it but have a feeling some aspects may have been incorporated in the Horror Make Up Show.

Toy Story Mania a vast improvement on the previous use of the site, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show.

Horizons and World of Motion in Epcot were great attractions. I think they got replaced with Test Track and Mission Space.
There are loads of sadly missed attractions. Some others I can think of:

Captain EO
Mr Toad's Wild Ride
Journey Into Imagination
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Magic Journeys (best 3D effects in any film I've seen)
The original Illuminations (although I prefer Reflections of Earth)
Delta's Dreamflight
The parades have changed quite a bit, the worst one I can recall was Mickey Mania.
Wonders of Life pavillion

And one they should remove - that dirty, smelly, noisy Autopia thing! :thumbsup2

Kev

The attractions I miss most are -
Alien Encounter
The house from The Golden Girls on The Backlot Tour
The 'bling' castle
Back To The Future
Kongfrontation (although I do love The Mummy)
