This might be a silly question but we are a family of 3 DH myself and DD. Will we be able to sit on any/most/all the MK rides together or will one of us have to sit elsewhere??

How old/big is your child? That's a big factor...but I usually sat seperately from my parents (made me feel grownup) as a child. Now this wasn't when I was tiny, and I was ALWAYS right in front of them where they could see me. Depending on size, you should be able to sit together on nearly everything in FantasyLand, Splash, MAYBE Thunder, NOT Space, and almost definitely HM. That's MK...Epcot you should be fine on nearly everything that I can think of...if DD is older might want to put her in front of you on Spaceship Earth. MGM...Almost everything that I can think of should be fine. AK....I really can't think of anything that would be a problem there either...

The "thrill" rides (use the term loosely) seem to have definitive seats, mostly 2 together (Splash, BTMRR, Buzz, Pirates, Rockin Rollercoaster, Dinosaur, etc.). Space is single seats all in a line. The rides w/ bench seating should work w/ 3 - Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, Maelstrom, Ellen's energy ride (what's the name?) Great Movie Ride, Safari, Jungle Cruise, etc. Test Track is 3 seats together, Mission Space 4 "together", Kali 6 in a boat.... and on....

If you have specific rides in mind, why don't you post them and I'm sure someone can give you the info. I had the same question when we went - we let DS pick who he rode with and where he rode, which worked out well.

Have fun!

Ok, looking at the age I'll think again. Thunder Mtn will be too narrow for 3 at that age. Splash would probably still be fine for 3 (watch the Full House episode where they're at Disney: Danny, Vicki, and Michelle in the front seat together-I think she was around 7 then). Buzz might be tough, but maybe not...she might actually enjoy having her own seat on that-I know I did on that ride back when it was Dreamflight. Dinosaur at AK has 5 seats in a row, so that's not a problem...Pirates seats a whole row of people. Not sure why the previous poster thought those two were a problem...Keep in mind on the ones I was talking about at the beginning that if anyone is Pooh Sized it may be different....I know I had a hard time sitting with my dad and mom the more Pooh shaped that he got. That would definitely be a factor on Splash. HTH! Let us know if there are more specific questions. Also, 7 is the age where kids can ride seperately (I always did on Fantasyland stuff, just right in front of my parents).

:rotfl: I had to think about that for a minute but I don't believe we a Pooh size!!! LOL Thanks Aurora. We are only heading to the MK - AK and TL this trip so I'm justing thinking of the rides in these parks. Thanks everyone for your replies

DH, DD and I went on most rides together. She was 9 at the time and kinda skinny. So, if your child is young and skinny, you should be ok. One ride that was a tight squeeze was Dumbo. And on Barnstormer, I rode by myself while DH and DD rode together. It was just too tight for the 3 of us.

We alternate. One ride dd will sit with me, the next with her dad. That way no one gets left out.
