Hi, we're visiting WDW in August and are wondering what our 18 month old will be able to ride. Can he ride things like Peter Pan and PoC on our laps or does he have to sit in a seat himself.

Also is he too small to ride the family raft rides at BB or TL?

Thanks!

I believe he'll sit between you on the one bench seat for Peter Pan (IIRC, lap-sitting interferes with the lap bar). POC I think lap-sitting is fine on.

At BB, he won't be too small for the family raft ride, but the height limit for the chairlift is 32", so you'll be climbing the stairs carrying him.

We just went with our 18 month old and he went on every ride without a height restriction in all 4 parks! And he loved them too! Most of them he wanted to sit on the seat himself, but sometimes I would hold him. It didnt matter and never did a CM ask me to do one or the other. He loved the toy story mania ride and sat on this seat for that one twice!

We did not do the water parks so cant help you there, but I know when we went to the Dells last summer, our little guy was able to go on all the family raft rides without a height restriction.
