Our DD will turn 1 on our trip. What rides have you put your 1 year old on? Please list rides from all parks.

She can go on any ride that does not have a height restriction in all parks. On our last trip my DS#2 was 11 months and he went on everything with us except the roller coasters (because of height restictions). He loved It's Small World, the Kilimanjaro Safari, Disney Playhouse Live. He was great on all the rides as long as he had his nap and had a full belly--- if those two things weren't meet then he would get alittle afraid if the rides got too dark, so bring a mini flashlight!

Magic Kingdom- Dumbos, Pooh, Small World, Peter Pan, carousel, TTA, Buzz, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin, train, characters are great with 1-yr-olds.

Epcot- Living Seas, Living w/ the Land, Mexico ride, Spaceship Earth (if your back can handle the extra weight of holding the baby-ugh.) DD loved the fountains and watching the coots on one of the ponds.

MGM- Maybe Playhouse Disney and Little Mermaid depending on how your child sits through shows. I personally didn't think MGM had much to offer the little ones other than tons of characters. Oh, and if mobile enough, the Honey, I Shrunk playground is great.

AK- Triceratop Spin, safari, animal trails, bird show is great if your child can sit through shows. We didn't take our show-hating kids to Lion King or Tarzan but my parents said they were pretty loud, though THEY enjoyed them. AK also has many characters.

My brother just got back with his DD just turned 1 and she loved all the gentle rides and hated all the shows/3D movies that were loud. She really loved the characters and many of them made a huge deal over her. She doesn't even stand yet so they would get down on the ground and play with her. When we took my DD almost 1 1/2, she did great with everything except eating. She almost exclusively at ketchup (with a spoon.) Yuck!

Im just chuckiling to myself :p My favorite ride through the whole, entire world is TTA!! Its the perfect blend of relaxation and imagination.

That is what's awesome about Disney & even though my DH grumbles about the cost we keep going back year after year. It's so family friendly. We took our DS for his first b-day & he had a blast. We took him on so many rides it was incredible ! Wait till you get there & you'll see. He rode dark rides, loud rides, slow rides, fast rides, anything we could get him on without a height requirement. He is a little daredevil & enjoyed it all. Also all the characters where a big hit ! :goodvibes

Our kids loved The Lion King show in AK - There is really alot going on and so much music & acrobatics that our 1 year old was mesmerized. This year (she's 3 now) she loved it just as much and could sing & dance along!
