Hi there fellow "Jerry" meet attendee!!
We were in the parks with my fearless little granddaughter early January, she actually turned 17 months on our trip

I should amend that to say she didn't fear any rides but she was NOT into the characters...quite the opposite of her 3 yr old brother!
At MK she liked Dumbo (a couple of times) and Alladin's Magic Carpets, Pooh (a couple of times), Tea CUps and TikiBirds, the Carousel...IASW was closed for rehab

She loved Philharmagic on her daddy's lap, kept the glasses on even! She enjoyed exploring at the Fort on Tom Sawyers Island and the play area in Mickey's toontown...and walking through Micky and Minnie's houses in Toontown too.
At AK...the flying dinosaur ride in Dinoland and the Boneyard playground....the Festival of the Lion King held her attention more than the Pocohontas Story hour. She enjoyed the Safari and just walking around looking at animals and birds.....but neither she nor her brother liked It's Tough to Be a Bug ("darker" and scarier than Philharmagic I guess with less familiar characters)
At MGM we had a blast...lots of character interaction with no long lines for her brother...and they both enjoyed the Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the Beauty and the Beast Stage SHow. Playhouse Disney was a HUGE hit with both kids...I wish we'd gotten there early enough to be closer to the stage...we walked in right as it started, after getting out of the Little Mermaid, so we were near the back. But they laughed and danced and
absolutely loved that show. She loved the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground and didn't want to leave!
AT Epcot we did Figment/Imagination, and at the Living Seas...she enjoyed Turtle Talk with Crush. In one of the Innoventions there is a whole little kids section of computers/games at kid-level...she was amazingly into pulling up a chair and pushing buttons, by herself or with adult help. Strolling around World Showcase she just liked to be put down to walk around and look at stuff....any kind of street attraction or music would keep her attention until she felt the urge to move on and so we would just go with her flow walking around there.
This is a child who does NOT like to be "confined" (sit still in a chair or stroller) unless it is to eat or sleep. But at the movies and shows I mentioned, she was fine if she could sit on daddy's or grampa's lap, and engrossed once the show actually started.
Hope this helps. Have a blast antkim!
