does anyone know if there is a website that lists which rides will be shut down and when for refurbishment. I found the ones for WDW but not for US. I am going the second week in january and if the Shrek 4D isn't open then my daughters whole trip will be ruined :)
Thanks!
Krista

We were just out there on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd. & 24th. and Shrek was open, (went in twice) The only thing I noticed closed was the Ripsaw Falls. It was all boarded up, you couldn't even see the building. Of course it was too cold to even think about getting soaking wet on that one anyway but it is a lot of fun when the weather is warmer.

Hello,

Since Shrek now has TWO theatres it is highly, highly unlikely the whole ride would be down, especially for any refurbishment! If they needed to do refurbishment they'd just close one side keeping the other open. I work at Shrek - so tell your daughter to come on over (but make sure she doesn't try to bring along any fairy tale creatures - you know how that pesky...I mean honorable ... Lord Farqaad feels about them...

Smiles,
Holly

Thank you two soo much. I can't wait to bring my daughter to see Shrek. She is only 2 and wakes up with Shrek on her mind every morning.

I was also wondering how they can tell if a child is under 3(for ticket purchase). My daughter really is 2 but she is tall for her age.
