Rides breaking down

um... major breakdowns??? not really, unless having Tower of Terror stop in the dark passage way when you are getting ready to drop is considered big.

lol omg... i dont even want to think about a thing like that... luckly so far everything has gone smoothly 4 me ..

splash mountain rite before the drop!! SCARYYYY!! we were going up the hill and it stopped!

Test track broke down twice
Mission space broke down for like 30 min. and then the ride was over! no my lil sister thot it was part of the ride when it stopped because she had never ridden it it was sooo funny. not ridin it again lilke 2 ppl have died on it 4get me ridin that

Haunted mansion stopped at the part where u go down the slope backwards.

Spaceship earth stopped

The winnie the pooh ride and sumtin else i cant remember though

The only ride that broke down when i was on it was POTC. It got real annoying only being able to hear the donkey for an hour.

Well, it seems like EVERY TIME we go on Test Track, it breaks down on the S-Curves. Of course, even with FP, by the time we get on it it starts to rain. I guess, don't get in the car with me! And then there's the whole wheelchair thing. Also, I think Haunted Mansion actually did break down once or twice when I was riding it.

In disney land I got stuck on Big Thunder and we acutally had to get off and walk..That was pretty cool XD.. I think Ive been on splash once. Probly like a million other rides. I mean as long as its a nice ride XD.. I think snow white to. So yeah

The only major problem we have experienced was once on the Tower of Terror when, after the drops, the car stopped at the bottom and quit moving. The car was dark, and it wasn't moving at all. Sat there for about five minutes without a sound from outside. It seemed much longer than five minutes. I had ridden the attraction several times in the past, and I knew that a door was supposed to open and let us out. I kept wondering if a second car might fall on top of ours. (Probably not possible, but the imagination is strong when one has been in a dark car after a 13 floor drop.)

Then, behind us, a young girl started screaming "I don't want to die!" She was really upset, and everyone else was getting quite upset as well.

Finally, the door opened and let us out. The CM just stood there like everthing was normal, not saying a word, not showing any emotion at all.

My wife has refused to ride Tower of Terror since, and I've been a bit apprehensive about the ride myself but still ride it.

As far as common breakdowns, the two rides that seem to me to break down the most often are the Haunted Mansion and Test Track. But I did sit in my log for about fifteen minutes in the middle of Splash Mountain once trying to hear the announcements that could not be heard because of the loud music which never stopped.

Ohh yeah on test track too..It was one of our first times and we were confused..We had to hear the talking thing for like 30 minutes.

On my last trip to the World, I got stuck in Splash Mountain for about 10 minutes on the little turn around part that's outside right after the drop. About 8 or so logs got backed up.. And those water cannons kept spraying us.. But it was only 10 minutes so it wasn't really a big deal.

OMG! I just remebered something did happen to me. But, not at Disney. At Islands of Adventure. We went on Popeye and when the ride is over, as your getting in the rotating thing to let you out, some 5 or 7 boats were ahead of us and they said we had to stay on out boat because they had some technical difficulties.

I went with my school and so I was with my friends and they said we couldnt get out of the boat until 4:00 p.m. and our bus keft at 5:00 so I was like no! And I jumped over the side and left. Then I heard security coming and we all ran! LOL

I think it was one of those coldish gray icky days.. Because I remember my family had our ponchos balled up in the bottom of my mom's backpack.

last yeah i was riding the tower of terror and right after the glass breaking part where the doors close you its dark and you are supossed to go up, it got stuck for 2 min. that freaked me out alittle

I went to disney in august '04 and space mountain had a wait time of like, 30 minutes. but the line for it was half way through tomorrow land. My parents and i went on the tta to see what was going on. sure enuff, the ride broke down.

yes it happened to me! it was horrible I was on Haunted Mansion and we were going through the graveyard and it just stopped and all the ghosts were flying around and ghosts were popping out of jack boxes and graves and we were just stuck there in the dark hearing noises.

Spiderman in Islands of adventure broke down it just stopped at the beginning and the glasses weren't working

HM broke down in the graveyard scene when I was 6, and I was really scared and I was crying. I didn't ride HM again until I was 9. But rides stop a lot because people get out of there seats or try to touch something.

I have always had such a phobia of rides breaking dowm especially water rides and high up rides.like potc,small world,and others but my biggest fears is splash mountain and when it stop frequently it scare the u know what out of me!
and when the logs bup into each other i swear i have a mini heart attack!!
